I have some awesome news. As you know I'm working with both ByWater and BibLibre. Well thanks to BibLibre, we now have a git repo for the Koha 3.2 Manual: http://git.biblibre.com/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=kohadocs;a=summary -- and I'm working on converting everything (and updating everything) over to DocBook so that it will be much easier for translation and publishing in multiple outlets. What you'll see in the repo so far is a few images and the start of the docbook file. I am working on it daily to try and get all of the content over. You'll probably see me asking questions so that I can improve on what was written so far - and fill in gaps. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated!! Hello colleagues, Iam running koha 3.0.3 on a debian box but its short of:- "Add&Dublicate" and "Add Multiple Copies" "Number of copies to add" as per the documentation; http://koha.org/documentation/manual/3.2/cataloging/adding-and-deleting-ite… Meanwhile, its a very big requirement esp when adding lot of copies..... I'm from Benin at Songhai Center library. Currently we installed Koha 3.00.02.012 on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. I was successful using the manuals for installation. But when the librarians are adding or editing an item in to the database, it will show us: "Koha error The following fatal error has occurred: Can't call method "append_fields" on an undefined value at /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8/MARC/File/SAX.pm line 92. Koha 3.00.04 search problem

I downloaded and installed the 3.00.04 package on my test system. The first issue I have found is with searches. Using the NoZebra option, all searches will return the proper record counts in the summary but the display will only show one record. Hi all, If you use MARC21 and your /etc/koha/zebradb/marc_defs/marc21/biblios/record.abs still contains the following lines, you will not find records with corporative author in 710 via authority search. Why not? The line with 710$9 should be before the default line melm 710. Please note too that the default record.abs contains two lines melm 710. melm 710 Author,Corporate-name #melm 710$t author,Author-title,Name-and-title,Title,Title-uniform melm 710$t Author-title,Name-and-title,Title,Title-uniform #melm 710$a author,author:p,Name-and-title melm 710$a Name-and-title melm 710$9 Koha-Auth-Number #melm 710 author,Name melm 710 Author,Name I commented the last melm 710 Author,Name line and moved the first melm 710 line downwards. This resolves the search problem after reindexing. Cannot search by acquisition date

I am using Koha 3.0.3 without Zebra. I cannot perform an advanced search on acquisition date. I keep getting no results. I can do a simple search and put the date there and it will pull up any record with an indexed date of that value so I get acq date and last seen for example. I have looked at the table Items and I see the dates are all there and in the proper format. I assume I should be able to do these searches without Zebra. Hi, last but not least, with a big delay on the schedule, I am very happy to announce Koha3.0.4 Stable, which fixes many bugs has been released on http://download.koha.org/ Its name is koha-3.00.04.tar.gz You can download file and signatures Big Kudos to Chris Cormack who helped me get all the stack of patches to get in and to all the translators who devoted time on translations. It fixes Amazon webservices and many other things. It count not less than 634 patches. You can check the integrity of the package; either by verifying the provided GPG signature (.sig) or by comparing the MD5 checksum: 1c6d5e7e8c8707b0867fe98a4f1541f6 koha-3.00.04.tar.gz I have also tagged this in Git as "Stable Version 3.0.4" v3.00.04 You can download.
