Hi has any one attempted using the andlinux program to use Koha 3.0 on a Windows box? Help needed in Koha Offline Circulation

Hello all.Greetings ! I have recently installed Koha 3.0.3, then I came to know about Koha Offline Circulation Client. I followed the instructions provided in the KeyHall's website, but I am facing a continuous problem in installing PHP-GTK2.' I am using Debian Lenny Stable Versions using 5 DVDs. All the prerequisites are already met but while running "configure" in PHP-GTK2 I get an error message saying that "GLIBC 2.6 or greater is required". I have already installed "GLIBC 2.9" but the message continues the same. What is this problem? Has anyone else faced it too? If yes, how do I solve this problem? Please Help. Integrating library automation package with digital library software and workshop material

*** Apologies for cross posting a long mail *** As part of a project entitled "Enhancing Knowledge Innovation Culture of Libraries through Union Catalogue" carried out at National Centre for Science Information, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, funded by The International Development Research Centre, Canada, a prototype union catalog is created using Koha, a open source library automation software with 4 different collections: 1. Records from a big library (about 120,000 records) 2. Records from a medium size library (about 20,000 records) 3. A few multilingual records downloaded from the Net and 4. About 15 e-books downloaded from the Net, which do not violate copyright law. With these four collections we have successfully addressed the issues of data mining, data migration, bulk import, multilingual records handling and full text searching (using both Greenstone and Fedora Commons) in a library automation package. All these are carried out using Koha as it supports developmental work. The implementation of these can be accessed at: http://dharmaganja.ncsi.iisc.ernet.in:8082/ Though we have extensively tested other software: NewGenLib, PMB, Vufind and Evergreen (library automation package), because of clashes with the supporting software versions, we have not implemented them on the server. A series of workshops was organized to train manpower in using the available technological tools for library automation (Koha, NewGenLib, PMB, Vufind, MarcEdit, Greenstone, Fedora Commons, PHP and CSS tutorials, Ubuntu installation). Emailed Overdue Notices

Reading the Koha documentation, it looked like there was one email address that all overdue notices would go to if the patron did not have an email address in their account. But It looks like when a patron makes changes to their account in the OPAC an email is sent to the email address that is associated with their "Home Library" in the "Libraries and Groups" parameters about the changes. Is this the way Overdue Notices for patrons without email addresses work also? Is an email sent to the home library's email address with all of the overdue notices for patrons at_that_branch without an email address? Our Koha system isn't live yet to test this - any feedback would be appreciated! Again: delete MARC records

Dear List, I've imported different .mrc files using the graphical interface of Koha and was able to delete them with the "undo import" button in "staged records". Without manipulation of the source the "undo import" button desapeard. So I tried: bulkmarcimport.pl -d -file zm42a_1995_2000.mrc Now the extranet OPAC is down, giving the error: Can't call method "leader" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Biblio.pm line 1051. In the Intranet OPAC the search results the records still apeare. When I click on a bib record I get following error: Can't call method "fields" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/catalogue/MARCdetail.pl line 124. I ran rebuild_zebra.pl without success. Can you tell me a method how to delete MARC records/items permanetely and savely? Thank you.
