Hello all, I just wanted to report that the mini meeting about Koha at the University of Hartford, CT was a hit. It was a very productive meeting and gave many CT librarians a sense of what it is like to migrate to an open source solution. I think mini meetings such as these are a great way to spread the news about Koha, and get people to start thinking about alternatives to their current ILS. The meeting on 11/20 at Goodwin College should be equally productive and I look forward to a good turnout. I would also like to applaud Ben Ide for an excellent presentation and depiction of both the Koha software, and of the community that supports it. Thank you for having me. Koha 3.0.4 Install - Shot the Zebra, Bring in the Giraffe

I'm in the final stages of installing Koha 3.0.4 (fixed) on Deb Lenny. Following the install instructions, near the end when running the following command: Koha:/usr/share/koha/bin# update-rc.d koha-zebraqueue-daemon defaults Produces this output: update-rc.d: warning: /etc/init.d/koha-zebraqueue-daemon missing LSB information update-rc.d: see <http://wiki.debian.org/LSBInitScripts> System startup links for /etc/init.d/koha-zebraqueue-daemon already exist. Unable to retrieve records from catalogue search

Have instaled Koha 3.0 on lenny. Can't retrieve/call up records when I seach the catalogue. I know they are there, because if I use mysqldump I can 'see' them. Any suggestions, Carmel Young Malawi

Hello colleagues, When i try to import Authorities Fils to koha 3.00.03 i have this warning : "very long index (1261679)for __RAW__ / p. update mySQL config file if you have an error just after this warning (max_paquet_size parameter)" What i can do ? wich file i need modify ? TY

How to Host Multiple Database in KOHA 3.0.3

Greetings. I am using Debian Lenny Stable version and KOHA 3.0.3. I need to add multiple databases in my KOHA installation for hosting databases from various libraries. I have a manual explaining the process in KOHA 2.2.9 but I need it for KOHA 3.0.3. There is an issue with Zebra Server in KOHA 3.0.3, I guess. Please refer me to any links or resources that are available for this issue. Also, I've tried to configure the Offline Circulation Client but it shows an error of PHP-GTK2. Help needed in Koha Offline Circulation

Hello all. Greetings ! I have recently installed Koha 3.0.3, then I came to know about Koha Offline Circulation Client. I followed the instructions provided in the KeyHall's website, but I am facing a continuous problem in installing PHP-GTK2.' I am using Debian Lenny Stable Versions using 5 DVDs. All the prerequisites are already met but while running "configure" in PHP-GTK2 I get an error message saying that "GLIBC 2.6 or greater is required". I have already installed "GLIBC 2.9" but the message continues the same. What is this problem? Has anyone else faced it too? If yes, how do I solve this problem? Please Help.
