Hi All, I tried to install koha on Windows XP by following instruction provided by " http://www.koha.rwjr.com/downloads/Koha%20on%20Windows.pdf" with following dependency Apache-2.2.15 MySql-5.1 Active Perl-5.8.9 Koha2.2.9-W32-R1, but didn't got success and getting following error. "Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@dummy-opac and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log." And also tried to take help from this link " http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=en:installation:win32:koha_3_win32_install…", but it is not working. So please help in in this regard. I agree with what others have said. With basic Linux/mysql knowledge it is not difficult. The hardest thing would be migrating the records from the old server to the new one - if you don't want to renter everything. How hard that would be depends on how difficult it is to extract the data from the old system in a format that Koha understands. This is where a consultant might be useful/needed. Dear Sir, Good day. I've download all 5 DVDs of Debian linux with update 1 of Lenny 5.0.4. I can install debian linux. Now I want to know that the procedure of installing koha without internet connection. But I don't get any proper documentation about it. Old wiki vs new wiki

The new wiki is here: http://wiki.koha-community.org/ Is it possible to know why odl wiki is down ? All content of old wiki is present in the new one ? Greetings, I'm the assistant director of a theological library in the upper Midwest of the U.S. (Minnesota, to be precise). We are part of a consortium of seminary libraries, all of which are very interested in learning more about open source library systems, particularly as implemented in an academic setting. Every fall we host a half-day workshop for the library staffs of our five consortium institutions and we are hoping to have a presentation on open source library systems. koha 3.00.02 serials issue

Dear all, While running koha 3.00.02 very often when we try to add new serial subscription and click on search for a vendor button nothing happens. Even if search for a biblio/create biblio button is pressed nothing happens. We have also realised that it works on some machines and it does not work on some machines. When subscription period is placed and saved software randomly creates some year and we have to edit year again. Has this problem been noticed by anyone? Also in 3.00.02 if we try to set up library staff permissions for acquisitions they dont work. If we select catalogue and acquisition option for one user it will only show catalogue and lists links but no acquisitions link is shown for that library staff. reg, -- Sunita Barve, Ph. D. Active Directory and Koha

Hi all, I thought this might help somebody. After struggling a for quite a while to integrate Active Directory authentication with KOHA i.e. changing lines 103 to 107 from Auth_with_ldap.pm to changing koha-conf.xml with suggested changes from this list and other google results, I found changing the 'userid' to 'uid' mapping in koha-conf.xml to 'userid' to 'samAccountName' along with the changes for Auth_with_ldap.pm solved my problem I wish I knew this beforehand. We are in a Windows 2003 native network environment. Regards
