Greetings, You can also merge catalog records using a list. See the relevant section of the manual here: http://manual.koha-community.org/3.6/en/stafflists.html#mergebibrecs Jess Jessica L. Hello and Questions about Koha Acquisitions
by Joe 05 Apr '12

05 Apr '12

Hello Koha Community, I work at a small Academic Library and have almost finished migrating our Periodicals to Koha. We are having to juggle a few things and are thinking about switching from OSA (Online Selection Assistant) to the Koha Acquisitions module. How well does the Koha Acquisitions module work? Would we be able to import Price, Fund, Vendor, Order Number, and Invoice Number to our 945 line? Is there a simple report we could run that would give us that information along with the Title and ISBN of the item? III Millennium data migration
by Paul Orkiszewski 05 Apr '12

05 Apr '12

Hi again. I'm trying to export Marc records from a III Millennium ILS and import into Koha. For those who have gone before me - I've read through posts and articles by Ian Wells and Chris Hobbs - can you give me some hints? Particularly, should I try to pre-process marc records files to fit in the Koha marc schema? or tell Koha how to understand the III 9xx fields? Public access

I can access the staff interface on an installation of 3.06 I've put on an instance of Debian Squeeze in Amazon: http://ec2-23-20-95-197.compute-1.amazonaws.com:8080 but I can't figure out how to get into the public interface. My guess is that it's something in the apache config files, but I don't know where to look. Help? Re: [Koha] Installation problem
by Chris Cormack 05 Apr '12

In general you are much better off following the instructions that come with the tarball (or git clone) In this case INSTALL.ubuntu. What your error belows means is your kohaadmin user can not connect to the database. You set up that use in mysql eh? Chris On 3 Jun 2011 07:54, "Lars J. Helbo" <lars(a)helbo.org> wrote:

Report help
by Nicole Engard 05 Apr '12

05 Apr '12

I think this requires some regex magic :) So, if anyone can help me out that would be great: How do I create a report for all records that have both of the following items? A 942|c field that says Photographs and a leader fields that shows item type as book? I know that the 94$c is mapped to biblioitems.itemtype - so that's not the issue, it's the Leader bit I need help with. Nicole
