Catalog Error

I've trimmed down the cataloging process a lot for our very small library, but when I try to add a book now I get the following error: Can't call method "fields" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Biblio.pm line 2438. I'm a complete beginner with Linux, Koha, everything- I've struggled a lot to get even this far, PLEASE HELP! Thanks

Koha Config All stored in Database?

Hello, When setting up a Koha server using the debian packages is the koha configuration all stored in the mysql database? I would be very happy if that wasn't the case, as I then could track my configuration follies using a VCS as git ... Thank you for any insight into the matter. Sincerely, Joh

RSS and SMS overdues cronjob

Hello. As they currently stand, the cron jobs at misc/cronjobs/smsoverdues.pl and misc/cronjobs/rss/rss.pl will not work on an out-of-the-box Koha installation, as they require an obsolete templating system. I am wondering if anyone still uses these cron jobs, or whether they are obsolete legacy scripts that should just be removed at this point. So, are you using either of these scripts? Do you know anyone else who does? I use advanced search all the time to limit to items that are not checked out or in a specific audience or content. I usually only use one search field. Also, it is a pain with the more/fewer options. There really isn't that much more. The options should all just be on all the time. I will start entering information in the page, then realize I need more options, and have to start all over again. SQL for a report of overdue accounts.

Hello Fellow Koha users, Firstly let me say I have tried the standard reports and building my own report but I can't get it to do what I want. I need to be able to produce a report that has the Borrowers contact details, a description of all charges, total of all charges but is grouped by the date of the first charge. With this information I can mail merge to send out letters for overdue accounts. If you do this in a different fashion I would be interested to know (I'm willing to change). Good day koha users and developers! I installed koha 3.8.4 on a debian 6.0 machine. I was putting in cronjobs for the site by following this: http://manual.koha-community.org/3.2/en/cronjobsch.html. My last cron job is /build_browser_and_cloud.pl -f -b 100a -t 600 -c. I was able to successfully run it, I think. I was also tinkering on the OPAC of our site (http://hreplib.congress.gov.ph) I tried the Browse by author or subject, now my question is: when I search here, I'm getting results of authorized headings with HASH(xxxxx). Is this normal? What shoud I do (to get it right)? You can try going into the OPAC so you see what I was saying.
