check in /check out fails

Hi, Upon trying to check items out to a patron this message appears: -- Software error: Can't call method "subfield" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Biblio.pm line 3008. The item gets checked out (i.e. it appears in the list of items checked out to the client when you go return to the checkout page). The same happens with check in. The items get checked in, but Koha stops at the error message. What can i do? best, samuel

Hi, I've a question of my colleagues. In the opac, when i'm looking for something, i've the results and when i choose one of the results, i can add a link to come back to the results and another link to the search example: i make a research and it gives the results http://koha.ecp.fr:8080/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/search.pl?q=eau I choose one of the result and there, i 'd be able to see the next record which is in the list of results. Is it possible? I hope that you will understand my request. Best regards, samuel

Koha-Greenstone integration for full text searching

Good day koha users and developers. Anybody here tried integrating Koha-Greenstone, I tried integrating Koha and Greenstone following this http://wiki.greenstone.org/wiki/index.php/Koha_Greenstone_Integration. I was able to install both and connect. My koha site is here: hreplib.congress.gov.ph and my greenstone is here: http://hreplib.congress.gov.ph:8082/greenstone/cgi-bin/library.cgi What I can not work out is full text searching from koha. Through google search a pdf article said through SRU and scripts but the script is not available. hope you can help me with this integration. Problems with reseting the catalogue

Dear friends, we want to reset our catalogue, so we use ./bulkmarcimport.pl -d script to achieve this. Yet, there is a problem with MySQL database. The tables are constrained with some other tables. Interestingly, there are no hold orders on the records, so there is no reasons why the items should not be deleted. What can you suggest us? ------- DBD::mysql::db do failed: Cannot truncate a table referenced in a foreign key constraint (`kohadata`.`aqorders`, CONSTRAINT `aqorders_ibfk_2` FOREIGN KEY (`biblionumber`) REFERENCES `kohadata`.`biblio` (`biblionumber`)) at ./bulkmarcimport.pl line 97. add only item info for duplicate records

Hi! I want to import my newly created marc file into koha. Everything is imported successfully in the koha empty database and re-indexed. The problem is that I have duplicated titles. e.g: book1: introduction to koha nber of item: 1 book2: introduction to koha nber of item: 1 book3: introduction to koha nber of item: 1 but I want to have : book: introduction to koha nber of item: 3 If I set a matching rule, the import stalls after staging. Matching rule: Matching rule code : TITLE Description: 245$a Match threshold: 100 Match point: Search index: Title Score: 101 Matching component: Tag: 245 subfields: a offset: 0 length: 0 Normalization rule: TITLE Question: Is it possible to do this in koha ? for each duplicate marc record : Koha does not add it but instead add the item info under existing record increase the number of item under the duplicate record. Should I add only record info and add items info manually ? But with more than 40 000 books it will be a nightmare Thanks for helping ! Good day Soulemane, Here's what to do: Marc Editor>Tools>Swap Fields . Copy source field 952 \\ 8abdop (Original Data) . Create field 951 \\ (Modified Data) . Copy source and add to existing field 942 \\ c (Original Data) . Add to 951 \\ (Modified Data) . Delete the 952 field . Finally Copy 951 \\ c8abdop (Original Data) . Movie cover images

We don't subscribe to any enhanced content services, so Amazon is our only feasible source for movie cover images in the preferences. Amazon does not seem to assign ISBNs to movies, however, only ASINs. Has anyone found a way of getting images to display correctly using the ASIN, UPC, or other identifier. Koha relies exclusively on the ISBN as far as I can tell. A sample movie for which we have no cover image: Madagascar 3 (UPC 097361169941). We have Koha 3.8.
