Hi Everyone, We set up our own cataloguing framework with the MARC fields we use the most, but when a record is saved, we get the following message: "Software error: No biblionumber tag for framework "GEN" at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Biblio.pm line 3154." We do have a 999 MARC field with subfields c (biblionumber) and d (biblioitems number), but this message still prevents a new record being saved when our framework is used. analytics

Dear friends, I want to activate Analytics feature in our system. So, I have set the system preference UseControlNumber to Use. Then, I have edited the Child record (i.e. made the host item entries in the field 773) and it worked. However, when I passed to the Parent record, something went wrong. I have filled the 774 field (child's control number in w and title in t). As a result, Analytics: Show Analytics appeared on the record, But when I follow the link, no result is found. In the search box I have the query "rcn:000502577 and (bib-level:a or bib-level:b)". Any suggestions? regards, haik.

Koha Reports and Info

As a tech, I have some background in SQL but I'm trying to get a handle on Koha's database and report system. I currently have two reports which are SQL created as far as I can tell. (I've tried to duplicate it via the Report Generator and it didn't work out for me). The SQL is: Today: SELECT distinctrow date(datetime) as Date, type as Type, count(*) as Count FROM statistics, borrowers WHERE (statistics.borrowernumber=borrowers.borrowernumber) AND datetime is not null AND date(datetime) = date(now()) group by type order by datetime Yesterday: SELECT distinctrow date(datetime) as Date, type as Type, count(*) as Count FROM statistics, borrowers WHERE (statistics.borrowernumber=borrowers.borrowernumber) AND datetime is not null AND date(datetime) = date(subdate(now(), interval 1 day)) group by type order by datetime I'm trying to add to this report the following: 1. A count of the number of new patron cards issued. 2. A count of the number of patron cards renewed. If anyone could give me a push in the right direction, I would appreciate it as I am lost right now.

Help Re: Journal Articles

Hello everyone, We are new with Koha, we started 2 years ago with Koha 2.9 and recently migrated to Koha 3.12 (May of this year). My concern is about our periodical indexes. We have manually encoded about 1000 records of indexes to journal and magazine articles. I'd like to create a MARC framework for this. Can somebody please help us as to what MARC tags to use for the framework? I have seen the discussion about "Analytics" but I don't think this is applicable to us because we only prepared records for the "component articles" while the "parent or host item" (for journals) were not recorded in our OPAC. Our objective is to make a simple framework that is searchable and wouldn't have any conflict with the MARC rules. We really hope to hear from you. Thank you in advance! alice -- Alicia C. Patron Modification log problem

Hello, I am using KOHA 3.10. I am facing a problem in 'Modification log' option under Patron infomration. The Modification Log shows me when changes were made to the patron record. But in 'Info' column, it shows wrong barcode where every column shows exact information.
