Importing books from a csv file, including bar codes

I'm trying to import books into Koha. We have a few thousand books with bar code stickers stuck onto them and we don't want to change them. If I got a csv file with the authors, titles, and bar codes, how can I import this? I looked around at how to set the bar code of a book in Koha, but I couldn't find it. It doesn't look like it is a part of MARC. And since it is not a part of MARC, I can't really just import a MARC file, can I? OT: Looking for Dynix Classic Recall help

Hi. Sorry for this interruption, but I desperately need help with a Recall report on our old Dynix Classic server. It has to do with fines, lost items, and such. These didn't migrate to Koha very well and I need to dig around in Dynix to find some information. Unfortunately, reports dealing with patrons and fines and such in Dynix were never my strong suit. Notices Documentation Question

Hello all, Up til now I thought (and I forget who told me thing) that all notices with the exception of the overdues needed to have the <<items.content>> notation to show the items the notice was talking about. Today I learned that this isn't true for the check out digest - and maybe others. Instead you need this notation: ---- "<<biblio.title>>" </b> by <<biblio.author>> (<<items.itype>>). Due Date: <<issues.date_due>> ---- The dashes included ... so what I need to know is what notices need to be like this and what use items.content and which use the <item> </item> tags? Thanks Nicole

Hi koha, I am using koha 3.8. and started notices section in koha. The problem i am facing is when i edit the checkout noitce some of the fields are not reflecting in the output mail such as <<issues.date_due>> <<issues.returndate>> but the fields such as <<biblio.title>> <<biblio.author>> is reflecting in the output mail. *The sample output mail for checkout is as below:* The following items have been checked out: Flora Of British India by Hooner, J B, Due Date: Any suggesstions regarding this problem. Initially we didn't make a proper specification about what we really need and what we could agree to on a political scale to unify our processes. And we got to pay a lot for that.
