by Mahesh Angadi 11 Feb '14

Dear Members, I have installed koha (3.8.6 version) on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS using liblivecd developed by Dr. A. R. D. Prasad. Using postfix, we are able to relay circulation email notices from gmail account. Now we want to provide circulation notices on patrons cellphone in form of SMS. I searched through the mailing list, however, so far I could not get a suitable solution. I could locate file SMS.pm in C4 directory and files like Send.pm, Driver.pm, Test.pm in /usr/share/perl5/SMS directory. Kindly guide me in this reagrad. -- Mr. Mahesh M. Try this script in opac-detail.pl, following http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/JQuery_Library: var names = $('h5.author a').not('.authlink'); for (var i=0; i < names.length; i++) { var name_string = $(names[i]).text(); // mostly surname, name var fs = name_string.split(', '); var H = new Array; H.push(' <span class="W_link">'); H.push('<a target="_blank" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ASearch&search='); H.push(encodeURIComponent(fs[1]+' '+fs[0])); H.push('">[W]</a>'); H.push('</span>'); $(names[i]).after(H.join('')); }; It adds a link to the right of each name. Links are searches on Wikipedia, but if the search is exact, W redirects the browser to the article. Change [W] with an icon of your choice. HTH. Re: [Koha] Biblionumber and barcode incremented many times: please help
by Stefano Bargioni 11 Feb '14

Hi, Vimal: days ago we experimented something similar, with records duplicated. We discovered that a cataloguer was pasting data containing carriage returns into input fields, causing the submitting of the form. Koha (3.12.5) created more than one bib record. Checking the controlfield 005 for the time of these events was useful to understand the problem, since they had exactly the same value. HTH. Hi there! You need to implement your own SMS::Send::Driver class to interface to your SMS service provider. https://metacpan.org/pod/SMS::Send This SMS::Send::Driver implementation can be enabled from Koha systempreferences. gg Olli-Antti Kivilahti Project person Joensuu Regional Library Open Library 2014 --Powered by Linuxmint On 11.02.2014 12:56, koha-request(a)lists.katipo.co.nz wrote: > Dear Members, > > I have installed koha (3.8.6 version) on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS using liblivecd > developed by Dr. A. Sandboxes improvements ?
by Jonathan Druart 11 Feb '14

11 Feb '14

Hello all, The hackfest in Marseille is coming soon and sandboxes will be used intensively :) There are known bugs and I have already received some improvement requests. I would like to know if someone here, using sandboxes regularly, has a special need. If you are annoyed when using them, it is now or never to express yourself! Regards, Jonathan
