Hi, I have a problem with running LDAP Koha. I installed openldap and unfortunately ldap works on default settings openldap. Who uses Mozilla Persona?

Hi Koha people I see there is an option to add a Mozilla Persona app to help people log in th Koha. This sounds like a good idea, but it depends on whether enough people and enough other websites are using this feature. Koha import cyrillic

Dear community, We would like to install KOHA library automation system for a library in Kazakhistan. We need ISO 5427 character set while importing records. We exported unimarc records from former library automation. But records are in cyrillic encoding (ISO 5427). In KOHA marc import page (web) (after uploading file in "character encoding" section) there is no ISO 5427 option. We tried other character encoding options. FW: Opac search not working on 3.14

Hi there, We have recently upgraded from 3.2 to 3.14.01, using Ubuntu 12.0.4. The upgrade was a success except we were not able to search the OPAC. We could search Authorities but not the Bibliographic records. The catalogue Search on the staff client side is working fine. Each search in the OPAC returns 'No results found!'. Assuming that this problem has to do with zebra indexing, I have tried to run zebra and it threw the error message pasted below. Please help us to resolve the problem. "error retrieving biblio 11115 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 616." Please advise. Thank you. Best regards, Lay Poh

Bruce, I just did a 5.3 bib data extraction a few weeks ago. These steps did the trick for me: Make sure to use short report option. Bib Data Extraction: Select Materials > Export Select All Materials from Export menu All the options should gray-out except for the output file Select USMARC/852 Holdings Data Click Browse to desktop and in the Output file field, enter your desired name. New patron restrictions data

Hi all, I'm wondering where in the DB the new restrictions data is stored for patrons. I have a patron with 2 restrictions on her account and when I look at borrowers.debarred I only see 1 of them. The other shows when I view the record in the staff client so the data has to be somewhere ... where is it? :) Thanks Nicole

Need help printing more than 3 digits on the top line of a spine label in KHOA

Our IT person installed KOHA last fall and I am still not able to print out spine labels I can print barcode labels. We have finally got the spine labels we purchased lined up so they will print. But my problem is that we use QUARTO for items 25-30 cm. tall and FOLIO for items over 30 cm. tall. For some reason the first line of our spine label will not print more than 3 letters. We use Library of Congress classification and I know the top line of an LC # would not be more than 3 letters. So I don't know if this has something to do with information on Library of Congress, or something to do with the way the printer is set up.
