Hi All ! In Koha I created a framework (using the option "Add framework"). Its "framework code" is <B>. Then, using the option "Cataloging" and <B>, I created a catalogue corresponding to this framework <B>. I would like to look the source codes of files of both framework <B> and this catalogue. Have I a right ? What are names of these files ? Where are they placed ? Thank you in advance, Gennady

Notifications Messaging and “Patron category administration”

Hi all, We are running Koha 3.14.05 on debian3.2 connected with our ldap, we fixed our “Patron category administration” to do the messaging but whenever a new user login to Koha his account is created correct but the messaging is unchecked, while we did check them under “Patron category administration”. I’m not sure why this is happening, but while I’m googling, I found some Koha users talking about “borrowers-force-messaging-defaults” but couldn’t run it. Any help in this matter is appreciated. Note:- if we create a user manual not through the ldap, the messaging setting works and all checked. On import frameworks

Hi, Koha-users ! 1) Does "import the framework" mean "to copy" or "to move" it ? 2) What does it mean the word "another" in the proposition: "An easy way to create a new framework is to import it from another Koha database" ? Is it a database from other Koha installation ? Or, maybe, it is a database from current Koha installation ? 3) Where can I know from what file is a "Spreadsheet file" in the dialog box "Import"? (In every case see: Koha 3.14 Manual (en) > 2. Administration > 4.1.5.2. Export Framework.) Regards, Gennady

hi Jonathan, Thanks for your support, I did expected a Technical answer though i didn't where to post my question i did try the snippet you sent before by passing the HASH keys into get_template_and_user function but had no results since i used my ( $template, $loggedinuser, $cookie, $flags ) = get_template_and_user( { template_name => "intranet-main.tmpl", query => $query, type => "intranet", authnotrequired => 0, flagsrequired => { catalogue => 1, }, } ); $fromemail=C4::Members::GetMember($borrowernumber => $loggedinuser); this code snippet was put into Letters.pm in _send_message_by_email function but when i run ./process_message_queue.pl in the terminal it displays intranet-main.tmpl in HTML format i dont understand where i went wrong Thanks in advance Regards Arunkumar National Institute of Oceanography Dona-Paula, Goa, India

Hello, I have been working on KOHA customization for almost 2 months, Inorder make it Compatible to our Workflow. My question is How to get Active User details Currently managing the Intranet interface, like how it automatically does in Suggestion Management of acquisition module i.e When we change the Suggestion status it picks automatically the current managed user "Managed By" column. This is required to make it agile sending email alerts from the current managed user as it does it using default admin address ie "KohaAdminEmailAddress" stored in System Preference. the modules are little difficult to understand, hence development is delayed. Zebra Authority searches

Hello, I am unable to get any "exact" hits when I query my authorities zebra database. My query is of the form @and @attr 1=authtype NP @attr 1=Heading @attr 4=1 @attr 6=3 "Beauvoir Simone de (1908-1986)" and I get "authority not found" My Authorities marc records have Separate First name and last and look like this ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 001 1 106 $a 0 200 1 $a Beauvoir $b Simone de $f (1908-1986) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 001 2 106 $a 2 200 1 $a Beauvoir $b Simone de $f (1908-1986) $x Interviews ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes I am on UNIMARC and dom and have enabled icu indexing, and yes dates have the parentheses inside the marks I noticed changing the @attr 6=1 gives me 2 hits for record "1 and 2", However this not what I want! Clarification regarding the list of paid support companies

We have received word that some institutions may be using inclusion on the support provider listing to determine if a provider is allowed to respond to RFPs. While libraries have the prerogative to impose such a requirement, it is important to remind folks that the support company directory exists solely for informational purposes. No endorsement whatsoever is implied. Restricting your choice of provider only to ones included on the list may unfairly exclude support providers and consultants who provide services for mainstream Koha. If you are seeking paid services for Koha, it is ultimately your responsibility to do the research to identify a provider or providers who can meet your needs. Useful criteria for making a selection include: * whether the provider supports mainstream Koha * whether they have a track record of providing good service to their existing customers * whether they are actively involved in the Koha community * whether the price is right for you The support provider listing can provide information on only one of these points – whether the provider expresses support for mainstream Koha.
