search results and what exactly get indexed in the 245

We did an advanced search for title "David" and author "David Shannon" (without quotes) and not phrase searches and ended up with 79 results. Of these 79 it looks like only 12 have David in the title. Is the 245 $c field also being searched in the title index? sru stylesheet

Has anybody written an SRU to HTML stylesheet? Implementing Koha’s public Z39.50 server was as easy as uncommenting a few lines in koha-conf.xml. Tastes great. Less filling. Thanks! SRU then comes for free. Double thanks!! Search results against the SRU interface return raw MARCXML. While this is informative, it is not usable. I know I can create an XSL file to transform the SRU results into something more readable, and I know I can specify this XSL in the SRU URL. But before I go there I’m wondering: 1. Is there some additional configuration on the server side allowing me to display results more beautifully? 2. Has somebody else written an XSL file to transform the MARCXML into something more readable? — Eric Morgan

Dear Friends, Please help me to configure sms with koha ILS, i have installed koha on my ubunut 12.04 LTS system and i have the api settings in NEXMO sms service provider. If someone give proper guidelines for this it may be a great help for me. Items showing no location in the opac

Hello, When I look in the OPAC under the location column for any item it is blank, and when I try to place a hold it says there are no available items. In the staff client the exact same item has a location and a hold can be placed. I just upgraded to Koha 3.16 a week ago and haven't toyed around too much since then, but just noticed this about an hour ago. I am curious how it was decided there are 10,000+ Koha systems (I'm sure there are, and I think I've seen that number before, but the actual number of Koha systems is a mystery to all, I think) and that there are 120+ developers (I believe that docs/history.txt states that there have been 246 developers as of the writing of this email, so while 120+ is true...it just seems an odd number to choose recently). I don't know if it's worthwhile to revisit the rules about what constitutes support for the community by adding a visible link. After other issues regarding the Koha support vendor listings, I would be curious to find out how many people chose their vendor based on that page...
