Batch patron deletion/anonymization issue page: Restricted dropdown menu
by Charlotte Stock 05 Jan '16

05 Jan '16

The dropdown menu for "whose patron category is" does not display the full set of patron types; annoyingly, it is the 'student' category that I need to select! In case the menu is limited to a specific number of lines, I then deleted a disused category in the hope that it would allow the 'student' category to be displayed but this has not happened. I have checked each patron category and there is no branch limitation. Can anyone suggest why this dropdown menu does not supply all patron categories, and what the workaround solution will be? Thanks Charlotte --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This email message has been delivered safely and archived online by Mimecast. How to clean transaction table?
by Vimal Kumar V. 30 Dec '15

30 Dec '15

Dear Friends, Today our Koha officially started in production mode. Trial transaction (checkout, checkin, fines etc) details are still in Koha. We wish to clean all transaction details from Koha and start the transactions fresh from today. If old transactions persist in Koha, auditors create problems at the year end. How can we clean the transaction table and get ready for a fresh startup? Regards, -- Vimal Kumar V. Fwd: Some Questions About Koha
by Liz Rea 30 Dec '15

30 Dec '15

Hi Fabricio, I'm on holiday this week, but I've forwarded your message to the koha community email list, hopefully someone there will have an answer for your questions. Cheers, Liz ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: "Fabricio Soares" <fabriciosoares(a)yahoo.com> Date: Dec 30, 2015 6:59 PM Subject: Some Questions About Koha To: "wizzyrea(a)gmail.com" <wizzyrea(a)gmail.com> Cc: Hello Liz I found your email by Github (Koha project). My name is Fabricio and I'm from Brazil, I am working on the implementation of Koha in my institution with about 20 libraries, and we are writing some scientific articles (one of them has been published in a scientific journal here in Brazil ) in one of the articles that we are writing, we are describing the evolution of development by assessing the Bugzilla bug reports . Anyway, we have some questions and we would like to clarify for the completion of our work. Do you know who can clarify such matters? We look forward to completing our work and thus disclose the Koha in scientific journals and also in Brazil (which still does not know the tool) and South America. I await answers , Fabricio Soares da Silva

Indexing Not Updating
by Bruce A. Metcalf 30 Dec '15

30 Dec '15

Greetings, Koha 3.22.1 installed via packages, running on Debian "Wheezy" 7.9, both recently updated. Cataloging works, and I can see the biblioand item records using the Inventory tool, but Search does not return any hits. It had previously worked, but as Imostly work on the back end, it may have been a version or two back when last I tried, and patron feedback is nil. I did try running the Zebra Permission Repair process at <http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Fix_zebra_permissions>, but it fails with messages like: "sudo: koha-create-dirs: command not found" and "sudo: koha-rebuild-zebra: command not found". Suggestions? Bruce A. Metcalf Augustan Society Library

Checked books - list.
by Przemek Kosiński 29 Dec '15

29 Dec '15

Hi, After upgrading KOHA from 3.20.06.000 to 3.20.07.000 - koha not showing books list after "checked out" on patron account - display only info "Loading... you may continue scanning" But books are borrowed - after logging in to patron account in OPAC - see them on the list. Also work "check in" after returning the list of returned items is visible. Bug? any suggestions what to do? I have test instance Koha - 3.20.06.000 everything works as it should. best regards, Przemek Kosiński -- ************************************************* Powiatowa i Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna w Skarżysku-Kamiennej www: www.biblioteka24.eu mail: p.kosinski(a)biblioteka24.eu *************************************************
