Koha outdated call number in Location field

Hi, I'm trying to convert our small library from an old outdated call number system to Library of Congress. I've run into a strange situation: when I change the call number on a biblio record and item, for some reason the item won't show up with a catalog search of that call number. Strangely, it WILL show up with a catalog search of the OLD call number. Despite the old calll number not being present in any MARC or item record fields, when i run a search query it show up in the "Location" field, for example: "1 Resource Room <i>Resource Room Stacks M.AE4.2006</i> generic: "1 Library Name<i>Location Old-callnumber</i> Any idea why the new LCC call numbers are not searchable, or why this old call number won't go away? Hi, I'm working on a restructuring of a small arts non-profit library. The library currently uses an esoteric, confusing custom catalog numbering system devised by a staff member who is no longer here. We'd like to switch all our records over to LoC cataloging. We currently are using Koha 3.18.05.100 - I'm curious if it's possible to replace all our records with LoC records, in bulk, rather than editing each individually. Thanks!

The focus is on migrating the entire library (approximately 3000 books) from an Excel spreadsheet to a Koha Integrated Library System (ILS). The HELP Library is a major service provided to students that allows them to have the necessary materials they need for their university classes and related research. By establishing a professional ILS (Koha), HELP staff and students will be able to more efficiently use the library resources. Summary of Responsibilities : Below are the major responsibilities and tasks, in order of priority, related to this position. Please note that this summary is not exhaustive. A- Establish a systematic process for cataloguing all the books in the HELP library and those used by the HELP Academic Department into Koha B- Train and supervise HELP student interns focusing on ILS data entry. C- Provide general library management training to select HELP staff and students. D- Provide recommendations to HELP for other library resources that would be useful for our students and staff and ideas on how those might be integrated into HELPs existing systems. Minimum Qualifications : - Education: Current MLS/MLIS/MSIS student or graduate.. - Work experience: Experience with data entry for Cataloging with an Integrated Library Systems (Koha experience preferred). You should be familiar with copy of records from other systems as well as creating new ones where no other accessible system has the book. Note: this library will be organized using Dewey Decimal. - Essential skills: Ability to teach and supervise others. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to stay focused on task with many interesting distractions in close proximity. - Language(s): English and either French or Haitian Creole are required; Duration: The maximum length of this assignment is 2 months (preferably June and July 2016), however for the right candidate it is possible this could be a shorter commitment. The intern can end at either the end of two month or after the key goals have been met and the staff feels able to take over. SQL Query - Items with a Local Cover Image

Hi all, Koha 3.22 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (package install) I`m trying to write a basic SQL query to pull all items with a local cover image. I`m running Coce now, so I no longer need to upload local cover images to Koha. I need to identify these records so I can remove their images. I have a basic query: SELECT biblionumber FROM biblioimages WHERE biblionumber AND imagefile IS NOT NULL which works, but only returns the biblionumber column from the biblioimages table. I`d like to add a call number column from the items table to this report. I`ve tried this SELECT biblionumber FROM biblioimages LEFT JOIN items ON biblioimages.biblionumber=items.itemcallnumber WHERE biblionumber AND imagefile IS NOT NULL But I get an ambiguity error, and I don`t quite understand how to apply an alias to overcome this. Koha and letsencrypt client on Debian 8

Hi all, Koha's vhost file typically puts in both the opac and the staff client vhost definition in the same file. I've been playing with Letsencrypt and so far it only supports configurations with only one single vhost per .conf file.
