Dear Colleagues Koha-US is excited to submit this request for conference proposals for the 2016 annual Koha-US meeting (Aug 3rd-6th in Monterey, CA). Koha-US is a friendly group of Koha users who love to share with and cheer each other on. Not sure of a good topic for discussion at this meeting? Think about: "I wish Koha did ________ for me" "I'd like to learn ________ about Koha" "I'd like to teach others to _______ in Koha" "Things about Koha I learned the hard way" Other topics for talks or round table discussions include: a novice's guide to customizing the OPAC, server tasks such as scheduling a cronjob, how to develop Koha modules (e.g., dev more features into the acquisitions module), open source technologies in your institution, a poster session on the Koha development cycle, or an intro to automated materials handling systems (sorting machine). Reg. Speech To Text Integration in KOHA OPAC

Dear All, I am head Librarian at KIIT Group of Colleges, Gurgaon, India. Being an Open source enthusiast, I have implemented KOHA in our Library and also trying to modify / customize it. At present I am working on integrating speech recognition (Speech to Text) and speech synthesis (Text to Speech) to KOHA OPAC. Please assist: "ALL items fields MUST be mapped to the same tag" issue

Good day. I have been struggling to resolve a "MARC bibliographic framework test" issue, and hope that someone in this forum can assist me. I used the default MAR framework structure, and in preparation for importing stock from our old library system, I created some new sub-fields under Koha tag 995. All existing and new sub-fields had constraints linked to Tab 10. Under "Koha to MARC mapping" and the "items" section, all fields used link to subfields of tag 995. However, When I run "MARC bibliographic framework test", the only error I get is "item fields: ALL items fields MUST be mapped to the same tag, and they must all be in the 10 (items) tab" Can anyone give some help on how to clear this problem. My setup: Koha version: 3.22.02.000 OS version ('uname -a'): Linux debian 3.2.0-4-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.2.57-3 i686 GNU/Linux Perl version: 5.014002 MySQL version: mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.44, for debian-linux-gnu (i686) using readline 6.2 Many thanks ================================================== Please report any abuse sent from any Treverton user to abuse(a)treverton.co.za ==================================================

hello, When I clear record and passes it 16 hours were not rebuild ignores deletion how can i resolve this problem because i forget rebuild daily when i clean my items. with regards,

Martin, Your command is set to run everytime the minute is 1 (00:01, 01:01, 02:01, ...) on monday only. Circ Notices not working since migration

None of our circulation notices are working anymore since our migration to 3.22. I have checked and notices appear to be queued. I fear that something is wrong with how I have setup crontab. Here is what I have for one of them: 1 * * * 2 /usr/share/koha/bin/cronjobs/process_message_queue.pl Can someone help me shed some light on this?
