Hi all, Do you have a Koha clean-up / dev / fun project in mind, that you never find time to work on? Koha Community Project Day is your chance to finally get around to it! We are organising a global Koha event everyone can participate in. We are looking for all kinds of small projects people want to commit to. This could be anything Koha related - working on bugs, the manual, a plugin, website content... Error Printing Library Cards in Koha

Hello Colleagues, I have the attached error while trying to print out a batch of 200 cards from Koha. A batch because some scripts were written to pull records directly from our university database to Koha and the records were batched for the importation of the cards into Koha. While other batches print successfully, a particular batch gives the attached error. I have attached a picture of the error and the log file view. Please I need help as to how to resolve this. Hi all, Do you miss the direct buttons for Card and MARC preview too in the Z3950 search results table in recent Koha versions? Now you need to open the Actions menu first: so you need two clicks. Development to allow batch cancellation of selected holds

Our staff would like the option to cancel only selected items on the Holds Over tab in the Holds awaiting pickup table. Staff could select the group of holds they want to cancel and do it as a batch. The development would add a checkbox next to each item, along with a 'Cancel Selected' button next to the 'Cancel All' button, with a confirmation. Bywater has provided a quote of $2,000 for this development. If we could get 10 interested libraries it would only be $200 per library. I would love to know if you are interested in this type of functionality and if you desire to help fund any portion of it. Development idea - Create holds from patron suggestions

Our patrons who submit suggestions usually want to have a hold placed on the item for them so that they will be the first person able to check it out. This development would include the following: 1. Ordering from a suggestion method - automatically place a hold for the patron when the acquisitions department places an order from the patron suggestion. 2. Ordering from a staged file method - when the ability to link orders to a suggestion is included in Koha (bug #19358), this development would create holds for those patrons. Bywater has provided a quote of $5,000 for this development. If we could get several libraries interested in this the cost to each would be more manageable. If we could get as many as 10 interested libraries it would only be $500 per library. I would love to know if you are interested in this type of functionality and if you desire to help fund any portion of it. Error after upgrading to 19.05

Hello everyone! I am running Koha on a Debian Jessie server. I installed Koha following the "package" method and I just updated it to the latest version (19.05). Unfortunately, something went wrong. What I did: sudo apt update sudo apt upgrade sudo apt install koha-common #as suggested in the documentation The latter command triggered the update of thedatabase schema. A double check with sudo koha-upgrade-schema gave no error. I then reindexed both our libraries with: sudo koha-rebuild-zebra -v -f <library> And restarted koha-zebra, koha-sip, koha-plack. I am currently not able to see the frontpage nor to login in the backend (it gives my incorrect user/password). I checked the logs here: /var/log/koha/koha/opac-error.log And it gives my these errors: 404.pl: Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Auth.pm line 551. opac-export.pl: Use of uninitialized value in numeric ne (!=) at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Ris.pm line 833. In particular, the error from 404.pl recurs many times. Any help or suggestion would be much appreciated! Thanks! Jacopo

check out one item results in multiple of those items

We have started experiencing a recent issue where attempting to check out one item results in multiple of those items (same barcode, checked out multiple times) being checked out to the one patron.
