Hi, saluton, hola, bonjour, String freeze is into effect today Monday 15 June 2020 for the 19.05.x maintenance branch. 19.05.12 release is scheduled for Monday 22 June 2020. Which means it's the right time to head over to the translation platform: https://translate.koha-community.org/projects/ Important reminder: if you add or change a translation in version 19.05, then you must also copy it to 19.11 and 20.05. Koha 20.05.00 Released

Hello Everyone, It is with great pleasure I am able to announce the release of Koha 20.05, a major release of the Koha open source integrated library system. This release includes 13 new features, 275 enhancements, 592 bugfixes. Please see the release notes for further details: https://koha-community.org/koha-20-05-released/ It is the work of many librarians, developers and community members who have donated a huge number of hours to keep the project moving forward. My thanks go out to all who contributed. This is my final release as a release manager and I'd like to extend my personal thanks to a fantastic team. Special thanks go out to Mason James, Tomas Cohen and Jonathan Druart, all who stepped in during the final weeks of the cycle to ensure the packaging would work as expected for Debian 10 as well as finding and fixing bugs right up to the very end of the cycle. I cannot overstate what a great team I've had behind me this cycle and I feel we have achieved a huge amount. Enable the plack

Good Morning, When I try to enable the plack ... $ sudo a2enmod headers proxy_http I get the following message, and do not activate the plack. Considering dependency proxy for proxy_http: Module proxy already enabled Module proxy_http already enabled How can I fix this? Thank you, Victor

MariaDB 10.3 installation error on Ubuntu 20.4

Kia Ora every one I was trying to test Koha 20.05 on Ubuntu 20.4LTS however got following error for MariaDB. I am following our Wiki page for installation and also tried some solution got through googling "The following packages have unmet dependencies: mariadb-server : Depends: mariadb-server-10.3 but it is not going to be installed E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages" Any thoughts?/help/guidance? -- *Nga mihi /**Kind Regards* *Farasat Shafi Ullah *

Dear List and Developers, a little bit strange question, but having practical importance for Armenian users all over the world. Armenian language is having 2 independent branches - Eastern Armenian (spoken in the Republic of Armenia), and Western Armenian (spoken in all European countries, Americas and Middle East which have Armenian communities, ca. 7 million users). The alphabet for both languages is same, but the grammar is different. I'm localizing Koha system into Armenian for Eastern Armenian. And this is anchored under the language code HY. Our colleagues from Diaspora, who are using Western Armenian, are asking to localize the system also into Western Armenian. In ISO 639-3 standard 2 versions of Armenian language are present - hyw - for Western, and hye - for Eastern. My question is - will be it possible instead HY, to have 2 language codes hyw and hye for Armenian case? Is this technically possible? many thanks, Tigran

Good Morning After updating to 20.05 this error appeared when trying to save a record "Can't open /var/log/koha/biblio/opac-error.log (Permission denied) at /usr/share/perl5/Log/Log4perl/Appender/File.pm line 151." How can I solve?

Patron save button dissabled after adding JS to addbiblio

Hi I´m trying to make this JS work in 19.11.06, even though it is noted to work on 16.05. The JS was supposed to be enabled only on cataloging form, however, it locks/disables the save button in patron creations form. Zebra error 1011/10004

Hello team My system returns 0 found on all searches both on staff client and Opac. Theres a persistent Warning - Zebra error code 1011 on abput page which after restarting changes it to 10004. Numerous efforts to restart zebra or the system does not resolve this issue. Kindly help Warm RegardsJames Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
