Non book materials

Hello all, Our library is currently using Koha to circulate not only books, but other items, such as laptops and digital video cameras. We are considering using it for sports equipment, room bookings and other uses. Works on paper! I would be interested in hearing from other Koha users if they have experience in using Koha for non-book items, and what success or otherwise they have had. Koha 2.2.2b Add Biblio error

Salvete! I'm still having trouble adding biblios to Koha 2.2.2b. Under previous versions, I would get similar errors if I didn't wait long enough for a given breeding farm record to load, but now it's happening quite often. It almost certainly happens when I try and add a biblio with special characters, and has randomly happened with Jimmy Buffet's A Salty Piece of Land. Here are the details I get if I click on the error display Line: 1174 Char: 4 Error: Object required Code: 0 URL:http://24.149.60.215:8080/cgi-bin/koha/acqui.simple/addbiblio.pl?bre edingid=4268 I will try to get more information from the actual error log if I can manage to get that later. Koha and e-books

Hi, I would like to use Koha to classify e-books and make them available to selected users (possibly with password and/or IP restriction). Hi, I am looking into conversion of .dat files too (not for the same reason) and I think that you can access them using Pascal, but I am not completely sure yet!!! I want to translate into Spanish some of the documents that appear in http://www.kohadocs.org but I need to know if any of these documents are being translated or not into Spanish. opac call number display different in normal & marc views

Hi all, Why would the call number display differently in the normal view and the marc view? For example, in http://www.thecenterlibrary.org, keyword or title search for "Questions of Diversity" displays the record. In MARC view, you see the real call numbers of the items: 301.2771 Simons 301.2771 Simons c.2 301.27 Sim c.3 (I added this last copy just to check that the call number wasn't just getting cut off.) But in Normal view, it shows the 3 items, but all have the same call number. What's up? Where in the perl script or template is this value being summoned? (i'm using npl templates) Is it looking for a different value in the normal view than in the MARC view? What's going on? Upgrading Koha2.0.2 to Koha2.2.2b

Hi, I'm using Fedora Core3, while upgrading Koha2.0.2 to Koha2.2.2b i dint have any errors...after that when i opened INTRANET application it showed me the new page of Koha2.2.2b it looked good n cool.. but when i opened the OPAC application it was the same old page which i was using in the older version of Koha2.0.2...it dint have any changes as such...how is that...wat is the problem... cud anyone suggest me some idea for this...
