To install Jinzora in Standalone mode please follow these steps: *Download* You can get Jinzora from the following Jinzora Downloads Page <http://www.jinzora.com/download/> *Extracting* Once you've got Jinzora downloaded you'll need to extract the download to your web server. *Windows:* On Windows we recommend using Winzip <http://www.winzip.com/> to extract the downloaded .zip file (assuming that's the file you downloaded). **NIX:* On *NIX you'll need to do a: tar -zxvf jinzora-X.X.tar.gz (where X.Xis the version number) to extract Jinzora to the current directory *Note*: Jinzora WILL create a subdirectory called "jinzora2" *Preparing* *Windows Users:* You MUST make sure that the Jinzora directory from above is located with in your webserver's root directory (c:\inetpub\www by default). You also need to make sure that the webserver has at least read access to the directory you've extracted Jinzora to (which it should unless you've changed things...) **NIX Users:* To make installing Jinzora on *NIX easier (and for those that have SSH access) we've provided a script that will setup everything for Jinzora's installation. Please simply run: sh configure.sh Inside the Jinzora directory. Hi, I have installed Koha 2.2.4 in my library but i have some problem in accessing the following sections 1. Barcode issues part 2

Hello again! Some of my (really awesome!) associates made a new server with Koha, Debian, and the correct version of MySQL. Everything is working much better! I am able to export variables and do the bulkmarcimport.pl now. I used MARCedit to apply the item type and branch as tags, and hey look. I have item information :) Now for barcodes. I was able to get the barcodes in - not automatically though :( but I exported the items table, opened in Excel, sorted by call number , and then dragged down(for lack of a better word) to make a list of barcodes, that, if printed in order, are printed in shelf list order! (thanks for the inspiration Steven B.!) But now I would like to print them. I am not able to adjust the printer settings though. I can enter the settings in on printerConfig.pl, but it does not save them. I am getting a pdf with lovely barcodes, but its in A4 size. Has anyone else had this issue? I am getting pdfs fine (a problem I did see on the list) but I cannot change the sizes of the labels. Also, the autobarcode doesn't seem to, well, autobarcode. This is fine for now, because I have my barcodes now, but how can I make it automatic for the future? Check for every 10th issue

Apologies if you receive this twice - I don't think it was sent successfully the first time. Hi list, We use Koha as a DVD rental system and would like Koha to display a message on every 10th issue for a borrower along the lines of "This is a free rental". I've created a flag in the circulation.tmpl file:  <p><b>Customer Loyalty Reward:</b> This is a free rental.</p>  and would like to trigger it from Circ2.pl like: $needsconfirmation{FREE_RENTAL} = 1; Just like the other messages that require user confirmation. But that's as far as I can get. I know the SQL I need is select count(*) from issues where issues.borrowernumber= ? but I don't know Perl and I can't get my head around how to call and process it, despite spending most of the day on it. Any code suggestions gratefully received! Hi, We install Koha with fully traditional Chinese interface, OPAC and librarian intranet, on one college library and five school libraries last month at Taiwan. demo site: http://140.136.81.145 You may ask librarian interface password individually. One nationa wide medical center library are under negociation. Expecting to install Koha at the end of August. We would like particiapte an Industry Show at Taiwan October 2006. 1. Where can I find Koha posters for promotion? 2. Can I use Koha logo for this purpose? 3. 500 error, Koha.itemtypes & default user?

Hi All, getting a 500 error after installing koha - saw the post from mariana lopez about reinstalling apache? Has anyone else seen this & figured it out (without doin' that??) first error is Koha.itemtypes doesn't exist, and according to mysql that's true, although 60 other tables were created=? my default login and password don't seem to work either. can i go in to mysql and create another user through phpmyadmin?
