Problem in addbiblio.pl in all versions of koha - Additional authors are not saved properly

Dear All, When a new record is created addbiblio.pl is inserting all multiple authors entered at tag 700 subfield 'a' in the additionalauthors table perfectly well, each in separate record duplicating the biblionumber. But when the record is updated using edit biblio only one of these multiple authors entered in the tag 700 of MARC 21 is retaind and the other authors are missing from the additionalauthors table. If a new author is added to the tag 700 that author alone figure in the additionalauthors field. Where as I am able to add modify Topical Terms with out loosing any entry and they are properly inserted/updated in the bibliosubjet table. Can any body guide me as to how to rectify this error. Increase max-length in borrowers category code field

Hello all, I'd like to increase the field in the borrower's category code (seted up in parameters) from a max-length of '2' to '3'. I've already changed this length at MySQL at the right column ('categorie'), did it in the HTML code in both 'default' and 'npl' templates but I still can only write a 2 max-length field when adding a new borrower's code... Any suggestions or any idea of what I may be doing wrong? I've searched the archives but there were no questions related. I'm using Koha 2.2.7 in Debian, MySQL 4.0.24, Perl 5. Error in installing Net-Z3950-ZOOM-1.16 for Z39.50 Search

Dear All I am trying to configure my Koha application for Z39.50 Search. For that purpose I have downloaded yaz-toolkit from indexdata and installed it. After that I downloaded Net-Z3950-ZOOM-1.16 from CPAN and trying to install it but the following error comes on command prompt: C:\Net-Z3950-ZOOM-1.16>perl makefile.PL 'yaz-config' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. 'yaz-config' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. 'yaz-config' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. ERROR: Unable to call script: yaz-config If you are using a YAZ installation from the Debian package "yaz", you will also need to install "libyaz-dev" in order to build this module. I am using Koha 227 at Windows XP Any idea? z39.50 search difficulty

When I attempt a z39.50 search, I receive the following message: Server error! The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Error message: Premature end of script headers: search.pl If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster. Error 500 intranet 02/23/07 18:36:34 Apache/2.0.59 (Win32) I thought everything was set up correctly, but I could be mistaken. This version is running on a Windows XP stand-alone. The problem is solved. This "server internal error" when performing Z search is caused by the block of a particular port (210) on the path from the Koha server to our partner library's Horizon server. Thanks, Dave! Hi All, I am working my way through your guide on Setting Bibliographic Data Parameters in Koha. I have got through most of the MARC21 tags I am going to set up, but am unclear about the function of the "search also" field in the Edit MARC subfields contraints for framework default page. For example In Tag 100a I entered the following in the "search also" field (as per what was aleady in the installation) '100b','100c','100q','100d','100e','110a','110b','110c','110d','110e','700a','700b','700c','700q','700d','700e','710a','710b','710c','710d','710e','720a','720e','900a' Should I then cross reference in other fields within all the 100 tag subfirelds that I am defining - Such as putting the following in Tag 100b '100a','100c','100q','100d','100e','110a','110b','110c','110d','110e','700a','700b','700c','700q','700d','700e','710a','710b','710c','710d','710e','720a','720e','900a' Or do you just put the search also information into the field that is directly linked to a Koha table? It states "*Each box needs to be filled in with fine, time to start charging, charging cycle e.g. 1,7,7 = 1USD,EUR,etc fine, after 7 days, every 7 days*."
