Date problem

Hi all, After the upgrade from 2.2.5 to 2.2.9, we are having the same or similar problems to this thread: http://lists.katipo.co.nz/public/koha/2007-April/011491.html Anne wrote: I've been having a real problem with the members page of the system tonight. Problems with Koha 2.2.8 and MySQL 4.1

This morning I decided to try and make sure our Koha would support Unicode properly, following the instructions at: http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=encodingscratchpad Since upgrading to MySQL 4.1.11 (using the Debian mysql-server-4.1 package) our Koha installation is behaving very strangely. 1. On the intranet I have to log in every time I go to a different page, each time it shows: Login Error You are accessing Koha from a different ip address! Please login again. 2. Only the 'kohaadmin' user (the MySQL user for Koha) seems to be able to log in. 3. Our NPL templates no longer load the stylesheets (both OPAC and intranet). In the HTML source it seems to be trying to load "/opac-tmpl/npl/en/includes/" (the directory the stylesheets are in). 4. Searching behaves normally and I can see the list of borrowers. It seems that Koha is able to connect to the database with at least some success. 5. There are no errors in the OPAC or Koha error logs. Does anyone have any suggestions what might have gone wrong? I have a backup of the MySQL 4.0 database, so I can roll back if necessary but then I'll lose Unicode support. bulkmarcimport.pl problems

Hi All, I'm new to the list and Koha. Hope you can help. Seems like I'm so close, just stuck at the last hurdle? I think I have the installation (2.9.9 on Debian Etch, MySQL 5.0 Apache2) up and running more or less the way its meant to, but after many hours of reading though the documentation and trying various commands, STILL cannot bulk-import records from an ISO2709 file. dumpmarc.pl runs fine, easily recognising the six entries. However when I try to run bulkmarcimport.pl on the file it fails no matter what I do... EXAMPLE: ~/koha-2.2.9/scripts/misc/migration_tools# ./bulkmarcimport.pl -d -c UNIMARC --file test.mrk bash: ./bulkmarcimport.pl: Permission denied I have tried renaming the file and switching UNIMARK on in the admin preferences and many other things. Please, what am i doing wrong, what elese can I try? TIA, Bo

I am a new user for the KOHA for windows. I wanted to install the new version for windows Koha V2.2.8. I visited the "download links for windows (http://www.koha.rwjr.com/) <http://www.koha.rwjr.com/) > to install the packages for Koha Open Source Library Software 2.2.8 and other supporting programme. I found there some IMPORTANT - RECOMMENDED VERSIONS OF SUPPORTING PROGRAMS AS OF APRIL 2007 and downloaded 1. Koha V2.2.8. 2. Apache - V2.2.4 3. MySQL - V4.1.22. But I could not downloaded the ActiveState Perl - V5.8.8.817 or V5.8.8.820. German MARC record issues

Hi, I do have a similar problem: I use the US Library of Congress and the Canada National Library as my primary sources of Z39.50 records. In both cases the format is MARC21. The English book notices coming from both libraries are OK but the French books from the Canadian Library get their French accented letters converted to two letters (é -> Âe). Unicode Compatibility for Imported Records

Hi, We have installed the latest version of KOHA, which has not only has a user friendlyinterface but also has improved in the look and feel. Congrats for that.... We are importing the the Unicode records of Kannada and Hindi language (Indian Languages) from the following link.. http://125.16.179.42:8080/newgenlibctxt/LibraryAction.do?college=SDM-IMD We are able to enter the Unicode characters and the display is normal but when we import the Unicode records using MARC Format the Unicode characters are displayed as ??????.
