Are you using Internet Explorer (instead of Mozilla Firefox)? If you are using Internet Explorer (IE), try to disable the "Show friendly HTTP error messages" option, to see if you can get a more detailed error message, besides "Internal Server Error". To disable that option, in Internet Explorer (I'm using IE 7 here, but I think that, if you use IE 6, the procedure is the similar or even the same): 1 - Go to the "Tools" menu, and select the "Internet Options" command (it's the last one). 2 - The "Internet Options" dialog box should open. Click on the "Advanced" tab (last one) 3 - Scroll down the "Settings" list (list of checkboxes), until you find the "Show friendly HTTP error messages" checkbox (it's the last checkbox before the "Underline links" radio buttons group). UNCHECK that "Show friendly HTTP error messages" checkbox! Announcing Koha 3.0 (Beta 2)

Hi folks, Due to oversight on my part, there were a few template display issues with the Koha 3.00.00-beta release on March 23, 2008. I had also neglected to pre-install the available translations. Both these issues have been cleared up and are now available in a Koha 3.0 Beta 2 release. You can download from the usual location: http://download.koha.org/koha-3.00.00-beta2.tar.gz http://download.koha.org/koha-3.00.00-beta2.tar.gz.sig You can check the integrity of the package; either by verifying the provided GPG signature (.sig) or by comparing the MD5 checksum: e314123c824d37ca39b67436a2b0d874 koha-3.00.00-beta2.tar.gz I've also tagged this in Git as "version 3.00.00 beta2" v3.00.00-beta2 The release notes for this beta2 version haven't changed from the last one, so I won't reproduce them here. Hello, Greetings! One question, I am installing Koha version 2.2.9, actually install it, but I am testing the functionality of Koha installed on my server and I have not really been able to add users, I have achieved yampoco verify that table is stored users, not if the program is wrong, or is a mistake of poor installation. Is anyone using Koha with a selfcheck machine such as those provided by 3M? If so, which ones are you using? I guess I should also ask if Koha can be used with one of these machines :-). Can it? My Overdue Items Report is adding extra names

My overdue items report shows a lot of extra names of people who don't have any overdue books. There are over 30 names of people who don't have overdue books listed. Some of the names are repeated three or four times. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know how to fix it? Thanks! Hi Karina, I'm about where you are in setting up 2.2.9. The Authorized Values are basically a menu of terms provided for the cataloger. You create them in the "Authorized Values" admin page (under Parameters) -- just click "add category" to get started. For instance, I've created one for the 952 1 field for Lost items (titled "LOST"), and added "Lost" and "Missing," so that the cataloger can't just type anything in. And another category for the 952 2 field (titled "SCHEME"), for which classification system used: our home system, or Lib of Congress....they're going to be different from your thesaurus. I had to re-read the section in the Users Guide several times to get this, and just played around with it until it made sense, so just be patient!
