Maximum number of load items

We have installed Koha version 2.2.9 on Windows XP and have set up all required parameters. When we try and issue a book we receive a message saying "too many issues" and shows a maximum of 0/0. We have checked and re-checked our parameters (both for borrower category and item type) and according to the issuing rules the proposed issue should be legal - ie. 7 items for 21 days. Is there another setting that needs to be changed? Koha date in circulation

Is there some way of making the auto expiry date in the circulation module calculate correctly in version 2.2.9? We have set up several borrower categories with different expiry dates ranging from 1 year to 4 years. When we add individual borrowers we need to fill in the expiry date manually otherwise the system thinks the borrower is about to expire - ie. it doesn't seem to be able to calculate the expiry date from the borrower category if we leave this field empty. Clearing the Reservoir

We have installed Koha version 2.2.9 on a Windows XP platform. We have downloaded bibliographic records into the reservoir and would like to know if there is an easy way of clearing out unrequired records from the reservoir. Problems Adding Members

Hello, I am using Koha 2.2.9 with Windows along with apache_2.2.8-win32-x86-no_ssl, mysql 5.0 and ActivePerl 5.8.8. Everything is going well except for the fact that not matter what I do, I can't add a member. I have been filling out all of the needed fields, but once I go to save the member record, none of the information saves and I get a record full of commas. I have been desperately searching for answers to this problem in the archives...it seems others have had the same problem, but no solution has been posted. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Managing Items for multivolume biblios

Hi I'm trying to figure out how to manage items for multivolume works. Right now I add several items to one bibliographic record and I specifiy the volume in question in the 952 z field (public note). Is that the right way (I'm not certain, it doesn't show in the OPAC interface as I hoped). Thank you Beda

Koha won't load from browser

Dear all, [thinking] I have successful installed Koha 3.0 Beta with all dependencies on Ubuntu 7.10 by following steps in INSTALL.debian. However, when I try to load Koha from the browser, it hangs. What are ways to test to make sure that [Koha] and its depencies] properly install and etc? Hi, Sorry meant to mail that back out to the list (which this is). The only other thing that's really leaping out at me at the moment is that you've an awful lot of apache running. Like about three times as many as I've got and I'm actively cataloguing. I assume you've tried taking apache down and restarting it? koha 3.0.0.0 beta

Re installing Koha 3.0.0. beta version on a Windows platfrom Have downloaded the three modules - Apache, Active Perl and MySQL but the download of Koha-3.00.00-beta2 won't install. As far as I can see, the set-up executive is not there. the file is in a tar.tar form, but even when extracted I cannot find the set-up executive. Can someone please help? Carmel. Am using this version because read somewhere that the Z39.50 function doesn't work on koha 2.2.9 on a Windows platform? Or has this ben fixed?
