Hi, I saw your entry in the Koha list. Were you ever able to get LDAP to work with eDirectory? I'm trying the same. No luck so far. Is it possible? Regards,

Unfortunate weather forcast - but who knows - wait an hour and the weather changes in Dallas... http://www.weather.com/outlook/events/weddings/wxdetail/75035?dayNum=7 PLEASE - come comfortable!! This is an environment to learn so wear whatever is the most comfortable to you. Jeans, t-shirt, suit whatever. I may carry on my tradition of Hawaiian shirts and tan pants started by a friend of mine at other conferences... I'm also noticable that way...;) that also means wear comfortable SHOES as you may be doing some walking depending on the weather... and maybe an umbrella! The hotel does have a courtesy shuttle, but it only seats 6 at a time - and we are planning for about 100 people - all of which may or may not need to use the shuttle in the mornings, afternoon and evening! REMINDER - the hotel is not connected to the conference center it is .96 of a mile - from the Holiday Inn express(3101 NORTH DALLAS PKWY Plano, TX) to the Sockwell center(6301 Chapel Hill Blvd Plano, TX) There is "free" wireless at the Holiday Inn express as well as the Sockwell center, but due to network security there may be some things you can't get to at the Sockwell Center. sh: mysql: command not found

Hi, I could install the last version of koha (koha-3.00.01-stable) on Mac os x 10.5.5. But in the third step of the web installation, I get this error : sh: mysql: command not found That is strange as it could connect to the database in the step 2 : Connection established. Database koha exists. User kohaadmin has all required privileges on database koha. This error appears only in the step three while trying to "create the database tables and fill them with some default data" Thanks for yours help, --- Anas

Deleting Manage Staged MARC Records

Hi, Is there any way possible to delete some bib records that are listed in the Manage Staged Marc Records list? I have downloaded some records ready for staging unsuccessfully and two of the subject keywords in one or more of these records have caused an * Error: ** Can't call method "as_usmarc" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Search.pm line 2133. * This error comes up when i try searching for any records containing the word Geology and/or Groundwater as a keyword or subject, or when i click on one of these words in the Subject Heading Field of the record. I think that if im able to delete the records that were unsuccessfully dowloaded into KOHA that may be causing the problem then that may solve the problem but there doesnt seem to be a way to get rid of these records. Error in framework

Hi all, I'm a student at the University of Guyana working on a project that uses koha ILS to manage the library. how to use z39.50 ?

I can't figure out what the portnumber of our z39.50 server is? I can't even figure out if z39.50 is running? How do you do such things? We have a database called 'kohadb', entered some 18000 records, zebra is running and indexing and now I would like to know if this database can be reached by z39.50? Help is appreciated. MARC change in biblioitems?

If you change an ISBN (for example) in a MARC record, it doesn't change the ISBN column in the biblioitems table. The old ISBN is displayed in the details page for a record and in the basket screen, but the new ISBN is displayed in the MARC view. Has anyone else noticed this?
