Dear Luis, As Ian suggests you will find the instructions toward the end of the Auth_with_ldap file. You will find this file in koha/lib/C4. At the time I implemented this I recall we had to edit the Auth_with_ldap.pm file (see http://lists.katipo.co.nz/public/koha/2009-September/020177.html) I am not sure whether changes have been made to the current koha package but one significant thing I had to do in our network to make the authentication work was to grant the Active directory users logon permissions on the computer hosting Active directory. monitor load marc records

Hello all I would like to know if we can get the ID of the records loaded (import marc record tool). I mean... Imagine you are loading a catalogue...all good, so you load the second...all good too, but with other load we have an error, so we must remove from koha this catalog. I supose this remove is done with the range of ID of the records loded no? Can some one tell me the procedure? And then, whitch mysql tables are filled when records are loaded? Thanks a lot in advance

I have the problem with the newly installed Koha ILS. I catalogue an item and add. Question about GPLv3 and AGPLv3

I have installed Koha in a local library. Our installation is only available on our local area network, not exposed to the internet. Early on we had a request to be able to print our library cards and spine labels in a format that was not possible by Koha. So I made some minor changes to the label and patron card routines to produce what we needed. I'm perfectly willing to share the code I modified, but I don't think I know how to re-package it as a source tar-ball. If we go to GPLv3 or AGPLv3, would I have to make available the whole source package? I know that a number of libraries have modified the CSS and the front page. Would they have to make the whole source available? -- Bob

add marc record - z39.50 error

Hi I just did a fresh install of koha 3.04 on debian. When I have a clean database, just the default data loaded, I click on add marc record i can do a z39.50 search with no problems. however when i load the data from the backup i did from our old installation (same version), i try to do a z39.50 search and depending on which server i try to connect to i get either: Results Connection failed to bobcat.nyu.edu Nothing found. Try another search. or Koha error The following fatal error has occurred: Can't call method "data" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/cataloguing/z3950_search.pl line 233. web installer not working

Dear Friends, I have installed KOHA 3.00.04 on Debian machine today. Every thing installed properly, but when i tried to start web installer, i got the following error in koha-zebraqueue-output.log. DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Table 'koha.zebraqueue' doesn't exist at /usr/share/koha/bin/zebraqueue_daemon.pl line 123. DBD::mysql::st fetchrow_hashref failed: fetch() without execute() at /usr/share/koha/bin/zebraqueue_daemon.pl line 124. any help regarding this would be highly appreciated. Zebra server and client, both are running properly. Regards Rekha

Good day everyone, I recently had to install Koha 3.00.00 on Ubuntu 9.10 and I decided to document the whole process, because I know the first time I did it, I hated my life, and also I wasn't really experienced in Ubuntu at the time. Problem on the Installation of Perl Modules
