Do you know if it installed correctly? I would recommend installing it through CPAN. If you tried to install it as a root user, then delete the /root/.cpan/Metadata file and /root/.cpan/Build directory If you ran it as another user, like susan, then delete /home/susan/.cpan/Metadata and /home/susan/.cpan/Build directory then try install it through cpan again sudo cpan cpan> install install CGI::Session::Serialize::yaml If it still gives you this trapped error, there is a chance you might have not installed koha properly. Dear All, I have successfully installed KOHA 3.00.01 on one of my Debian system. But when I tried the latest version KOHA 3.00.04 on anothet debian machine, then it installed properly, but when I tried web installer first time it is giving me the error, " "production mode - trapped fatal error"Kindly help me out, in this.ThanksRekha saraswat

Hi, I want to install perl module DBD::mysql on the Ubuntu v9.04(Server Edition) but I face the following problem below, cpan>force install DBD::mysql CPAN: Storable loaded ok (v2.18) Going to read /home/kohaadmin/.cpan/Metadata Database was generated on Wed, 05 May 2010 14:28:31 GMT CPAN: YAML loaded ok (v0.66) Going to read /home/kohaadmin/.cpan/build/ ............................................................................DONE Found 11 old builds, restored the state of 11 Running install for module 'DBD::mysql' Running make for C/CA/CAPTTOFU/DBD-mysql-4.014.tar.gz Has already been unwrapped into directory /home/kohaadmin/.cpan/build/DBD-mysql-4.014-SzWBCO '/usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL INSTALLDIRS=site' returned status 512, won't make Running make test Make had some problems, won't test Running make install Make had some problems, won't install Can any one help to solve the problem. Changes not getting reflected on OPAC page on changing of net connection[ip addr].

Hello, i was using my laptop in institute which had a proxy server, made some changes to the /home/koha/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/prog/en/includes/masthead.inc file which was reflected on my OPAC page.. Came home, had to change the ip since koha was not working [changed 1. /etc/apache2/apache2.conf ServerName 127.0.1.1 2. gedit /etc/koha/koha-httpd.conf ## OPAC <VirtualHost 127.0.1.1:8086> ].. When i opened opac[127.0.1.1:8086/], the opac page looked normal(none of my changes existed) but the changes made to this file, did not change /home/koha/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/prog/en/includes/masthead.inc any ideas on Wat i should do to reflect the changes on the opac page?? Thank you..

Deleted items are showing up in the search results

Hi All, We installed Koha 3.0.4 on Debian Lenny. We have started working with Koha 3.0.0 we made a comparison of Koha 3.0.0 and Koha 3.0.4 databases, there are very few differences, so we replaced the Koha 3.0.0 database with Koha 3.0.4. Now even after deleting all the biblios and biblioitems we are still seeing the deleted items. We tried to rebuild the zebra index with -a -b options. We're getting the following error, which is occurring: zebraidx (3075) [warn] index 'Heading-Main' not found in attset(s) With -b option alone rebuilding zebra indexes is not giving any problems, but still the deleted items are still showing in the search results. Is your Koha 3 slow or fast?

I really would like to know some reaction times for Koha 3. Our installation seems to take a minimum of 6 seconds for any operation - type in the name of a patron, it will take between 6 and 10 seconds to show up on screen. That time seems to be standard for most operations. In general it seems sluggish at best. I'd like to have some indication of how fast other installations are, if possible in a comparable configuration. We are running Koha 3.00.05 with Zebra on Debian Lenny, on a Pentium 4 box. Marty
