Hi Owen, Thanks for your post. I now see that these pick lists are controlled by the Authorized Values Descriptions. I am trying to figure out why we cannot add or edit items. The thought occurred to me that some of these values could not be null. That does not appear to be the case. error-92 message

Hello everyone We're attempting to change over from DBTextworks, and had a trial batch of records we tried to convert to Marcedit, but came up with an "error-92" message when we loaded the set saved as XML..... Pick Lists in Add/Edit Item and Inability to Add/Edit Items

We noticed that text does not appear in some of the pick lists on our add /edit item page. Althouh no text appears, you can scroll down the lists and select a row but you can't tell what it is you are selecting. We believe that this problem is probably relate to a larger problem we are having, which is that we cannot add or edit items. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. What else do I have to do after changing this koha-conf.xml file? Kindly note, that this info of authentication works, because it worked on the 3.0 before but not on the HEAD/Git. Its copy paste + <principle_name> tag. I checked the error logs, both produce nothing, which is very very odd. Hi Everyone, Couple of questions: 1. I have e-Books stored on a server they are accessible by a server path such as \\ZEUS\Ebooks\Robert A. Heinlein\Friday (9178)\Friday - Robert A. Heinlein.lit I add this in as a URL however whenever anyone clicks on a link it redirects to http://olympus/cgi-bin/koha/%5C%5CZEUS%5CEbooks%5CRobert%20A.%20Heinlein%5C… can anyone suggest a good way of getting around this minor issue :) 2. I have quite an extensive eBook collection that I need to import any recommendations for how I could achieve this easily I have a list of the titles and their paths but unsure of a way to import them. What you are describing, is exactly when the firstname is not mapped correctly. I would: 1. Verify that the field can be populated. To do the I would hard code a generic firstname in the field. ie: <firstname is="" >John</firstname> This should always populate the firstname field (in borrowers) with "John". 2. Use a tool like the Softera LDAP browser to make sure you can browse the LDAP directory, and that the user you browse with has "read" rights to that attribute. 3. Double check that you are using the correct attribute mapping. The softera LDAP browser will show the LDAP mapping, depending on your directory this could be different. Stuck Items in Reservoir

Hello; Moved database from old server to new and everything looks great. However, we have items stuck in the reservoir. Not sure if there is a bad record that is holding things up, but there are multiples of the same (I think the librarian was trying over and over again). This problem was on the old server and continues here. Is there a way to clear the reservoir or remove multiples? We can add the ones we need by doing a search and clicking "add" when we find them in the reservoir, but we would like to get rid of the bogus, bad and multiple entries in the reservoir. I have read and searched and I am having trouble finding a definitive answer.
