Koha and barcode related issues

Dear all, I have installed koha 3.02.05.000 on Ubuntu 10.04 and uploaded MARC file of around 26800 record of books. i have pasted barcode on books and the barcode label is prepared like 00001,00002,00003...to 09999 and at the same time my bibliographic record in koha having barcode like 1,2,3...9999...26800.The problem is that when scanning a book which comes under 10000 (i.e number starts with the digit zero at the beginning), it displays that the barcode doesnt exist. Amazon Reviews/Similar Items not displayed

Hi there, I don't know if this has been reported anywhere else or is a known issue -- I'm new to Koha and didn't find anything on the web: Though I've entered all the Amazon keys in the appropriate text boxes, Koha won't display Amazon user reviews nor similar items. Covers, descriptions and Amazon's own reviews are working fine. Thanks, S.

Koha - advice needed on best way to suppress 400+ records

Can someone tell me how the best way might be to suppress a large group of over 400 records? I know about adding the 942 subfield n, but is there a way to do it to a group of records? Plum Creek Library System has been awarded an LSTA grant to explore and implement a Koha integrated library system (ILS) which will provide Circulation, Cataloging and Authority Control, and Public Access Catalog functions. Koha 3.4 packages uploading

Right now, the packages for Koha 3.4.2-1 are uploading to the repository. Versions of this were in the squeeze-dev repository for a while with no complaints, so I assume that means everything was OK. (Also, we've been running them here for a while with no real issues.) One important thing to note, that you will be notified of when you upgrade, is that you should run 'sudo koha-upgrade-to-3.4' afterwards. This separates out the MARC items from the biblio records. 3.4.x String Freeze and Roadmap Update

Hi all, The monthly 3.4.x release is a few days behind schedule. As of 0000 UTC 20 June 2011, 3.4.x is in a string freeze. 27 June 2011 will be the date of the 3.4.2 release. At this point the only patches that touch strings which will be accepted are blocker and security fixes. Non-string patches will still be applied up to the date of the release.
