Printing Patron Barcodes

Dear all, We need to print only the Patron barcodes (& not the Patron Cards), and past them on to the Staff/Student ID cards - already issued to them by our Institution. Can someone guide me as to how to print only the Patron barcodes? We are printing barcodes for books on A4 size label sheet having 5 columns and 13 rows. The same way, we need to print the Patron barcodes. *(Currently we are running Version 3.00.05.003. Greetings, I am a new user of Koha, and have had my Linux guru (who had not seen Koha prior to this work) install version 3.6.2 under Debian Squeeze on an otherwise empty virtual server. The staff client comes up fine, and using the beginners tutorials I've been able to set all of the parameters (that I understand). I have used the cataloging function to enter half a dozen bibliographic records and added holdings information for them. A shelf list creates correctly. All appears to be going exactly as it should. However, the public OPAC shows no books in the collection. Is there some step that is not covered by the tutorials that must be used to grant access? 3.4.x Branch and 3.4.8 Release Update

Hi All, I've just had time to bring the 3.4.x branch current with master. We will be releasing 3.4.8 next Saturday. There are a huge number of commits made in the last 8 hours, so I'd like to call for some testing on 3.4.x before the release next Saturday just to avoid any obvious bugs. Holds/Transfer Limit Question

I got this question today from a library about to go live with Koha and I'm not exactly sure how to answer it. "Our system is a collection of four sites. One of them (Library A) has a severe restriction: Books from its collection cannot be transferred to the other sites. They can be put on hold by patrons at any of the branches, but must be picked up at Library A." Is this possible? Will the Library Transfer Limits do this? I'm thinking that if holds are allowed there is no way that they can stop the transferring, but I could be wrong and would love to hear from any of you who are using Library Transfer Limits or some such similar feature/rule. Koha - Reservas

Hemos puesto el módulo de circulación de Koha en "producción" y se están presentando algunas situaciones acerca de como maneja Koha el proceso de reserva. Surgen algunas dudas las cuales quisiera me ayudaran a clarificar o me orientaran acerca de como debiera ser el procedimiento. Actualmente esto es lo que sucede en nuestra instalación: 1)Koha esta configurado en preferencias del sistema para que solo se puedan "reservar" los libros que se encuentran actualmente en préstamo. 2)Cuando una reserva es solicitada por un usuario a través del catalogo e ingresando con su cuenta esta aparece en la "cola" de reservas. Hasta aquí todo parece estar bien; sin embrago faltan algunos datos del registro como por ejemplo la clasificación, etc. (Ya lei los mensajes al respecto pero sigo sin entender). 3)Si el usuario que posee el libro en préstamo actualmente se acerca al mostrador a devolver el libro en la interface del modulo de circulación no aparecen las casillas de verificación para "marcar" según el proceso; en este caso devolución sino que en su defecto aparece una "liga" que dice "Reservado" tanto en la columna de "Renovar" como en la de "Devolución" lo que no permite ninguna acción. 4)Hemos notado que si ingresamos a la cola de reservas de el ítem y eliminamos la reserva entonces si aparecen las casillas de verificación y se puede devolver o renovar el libro. En resumen, si se quiere prestar el libro a quien lo "reservo" primero debemos borrar la cola de reservas del libro, devolverlo (con la cuenta del usuario que lo tenia en préstamo) y prestarlo a quien lo reservo. O sea que es casi todo el proceso manual. Ojala alguien pueda explicarnos que podría estar pasando o si es algún "bug" o en todo caso un procedimiento claro acerca de como manejar las reservas (apartados). Saludos. Patrons blocked after turning in overdues

At some point we turned on a setting that apparently punishes patrons for having had overdue items. Depending on the severity of the overdue, it blocks them for X number of days, and staff have no way overriding it. This is for patrons who have already turned in the overdue items and do not have or have already paid fines. Where is this setting and how do I turn it off?
