Restricted flag in import patrons

Dear Friends, I have patrons details (about 1000) in an excel file. About 100 patrons subscription is expired. I am planning to import patrons through the option Tools > Import patrons How can I flag expired patrons details as "Restricted" during patron import process. Problem linking Genre/Form authorities

I have just migrated from koha 3.2.5 to koha 3.8 (new installation, new database, imported biblio+auth+items) and I have a little problem: if I search the authorities from the staff client I see "0 biblio(s)" for all the GENRE/FORM authorities, while the authors (PERSO_NAME) are fine. I do: sudo PERL5LIB=/usr/share/koha/lib perl link_bibs_to_authorities.pl -v -l sudo -u koha PERL5LIB=/usr/share/koha/lib perl migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl -a -b -r -v link_bibs_to_authorities.pl report: Linked headings (from most frequent to least): ------------------------------------------------------- Romanzo: 1296 occurrences Narrativa italiana: 932 occurrences ....(many more) Then I search 'Romanzo' in the authorities (Genre/Form Term) and I see "0 biblio(s)"! Is there something I'm missing? import items

Hi! On the road to koha, we have successfully import bibliographic records and authorities. Now, we have to import items record and problems begin . In our ILS, items are in a separate table. As we have not many options for export, i've tried to make a csv file and worked with marc edit (delimited text translator). I've followed the differents steps but i don't succeed to have a correct marc file. here is what i have for example =LDR 00000nam a2200000Ia 45e0 =995 \\$x =995 \\$f =995 \\$o =995 \\$n =995 \\$v =008 120910s9999\\\\xx\\\\\\\\\\\\000\0\und\d =LDR 00000nam a2200000Ia 45e0 =995 \\$x =995 \\$f =995 \\$o =995 \\$n =995 \\$v =008 120910s9999\\\\xx\\\\\\\\\\\\000\0\und\d =LDR 00000nam a2200000Ia 45e0 =995 \\$x =995 \\$f =995 \\$o =995 \\$n =995 \\$v =008 120910s9999\\\\xx\\\\\\\\\\\\000\0\und\d =LDR 00000nam a2200000Ia 45e0 =995 \\$x =995 \\$f =995 \\$o =995 \\$n =995 \\$v =008 120910s9999\\\\xx\\\\\\\\\\\\000\0\und\d What i don't understand is i've good mapped my file but something miss. Ok but my mrk file seems strange, as i show in an extract above. I have fields without content.....very strange. I choose a field, i mapp to an unimarc field, constant data and that should be ok but something isn't clear for me. patron internet usage timer add-on

Odd question, but here goes. . . The librarians would like to be able to scan a user's library card and have it turn on their internet access for a set amount of time. They want to limit a patron to 2 hours of internet time per day. So the program would need to verify the user hasn't used up their time. Turn on internet access to one of the patron computers. Then turn off access when the time is up. Much like they do in some internet cafes. Does anyone know of something available? Even an open source php script that times computer usage I could hammer into a usable add-on? Help Finding Id Card Printer for Our School

Hello Koha Forum members, Our school has begun to use Koha for the library computer system software and we are also planning to use the Koha patron card creator to make library and student/ staff id cards for our school. We need to pick out an id card printer from a company like Evolis, Zebra, Fargo or Datacard but dont have much experience in choosing a printer that would work well with Koha. Does anyone have any suggestion for our school, and does anyone know if it matters what printer we get, will they all work with the patron card creator? we are a small school and really just need a double sided printer with low print volume but high quality. any feedback or advise would be greatly appreciated.
