Dear David, Thank you for your response, I installed Koha couple months back and everything has been working without problem. I installed Koha 3.8 from common package on Debian 6+, I can not think why config-files should disappear from the system. Re: [Koha] No link to Authors on Refine your search

Could it be that the comma in the author name is considered to be a list separator at 'refine search' time? MP -----Original Message----- From: koha-bounces(a)lists.katipo.co.nz [mailto:koha-bounces@lists.katipo.co.nz] On Behalf Of anjoze Sent: Monday, October 01, 2012 6:08 PM To: koha(a)lists.katipo.co.nz Subject: Re: [Koha] No link to Authors on Refine your search Hi Bernardo. Maybe I didn’t explain well. The problem is: When I make a normal search (Ex: prisoner of azkaban), than, on the left side, it will be automatically added filters on the "*Refine your search*" section. (Ex: Authors: Rowling, J. K.) The filters are: Availability, Libraries, Authors, Topics, Series. All the links work well except the Authors. When I click in *Authors* it will perform this search: search.pl?idx=kw&q=prisoner of azkaban&limit=au:Rowling, J. K. (DON’T FIND NOTHING) If I change it to: search.pl?idx=kw&q=prisoner of azkaban&limit=au:J. K. Rowling (SEARCH IS OK) I use Unimarc. The Authors are in: 200$f, 200$g, 700$a$b, 701$a$b, 702$a$b, 710, 711, 712 Thanks again for your help, JS ----- Koha version: 3.08.04 - - José Anjos -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/No-link-to-Authors-on-Refine-your-search-… Sent from the Koha-general mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha(a)lists.katipo.co.nz http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha

hi, my web server has stopped working and when I try to stop and restart Apache I get this error message # apachectl stop apache2: Syntax error on line 230 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Syntax error on line 5 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/library: Could not open configuration file /etc/koha/apache-shared.conf: No such file or directory Action 'sto and in fact I can not see that file in that folder, so what has happened to that file, I just did backup the other day via sudo koha-dump library do you think this has created any problem?

Dear community, I want to use the *534* (Original Version Note) field in the Default MARC framework. Obviously, the framework already includes it, so I do not need to add it. But the problem is that when I am creating a new record the *534* field is not visible. Maybe I should somehow activate it or make usable? Regards, Haik.

Receipt Printer Recommendations
by Robert Williams 28 Sep '12

28 Sep '12

Hi, All: One of our Koha libraries requested a recommendation for a new receipt/slip printer. I'm aware of the older printers mentioned in the manual: http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/en/receiptprint.html I'm sure the newer models in these lines would work. But knowing some of you work with multiple libraries/branches, I was wondering if you could offer a recommendation for an inexpensive current printer (make/model) that works well in your libraries. Thanks for your collective wisdom! --Robert ********************************************* Robert L.
