Error, "can't call method "title"...

Hello Koha users, I am running Koha v. 3.06.04.000 on Apache/2.2.9 (Debian). I tried deleting this record but an error obviously occurred, because it still shows up when I search for it. When I select the record to edit it, I get this message: "Can't call method "title" on an undefined value at /home/koha/kohaclone/cataloguing/addbiblio.pl line 913." And when I simply click the record, I get this message: " The record you requested does not exist (14540)." I tried reindexing Koha (reindex_koha) but the record is still present. Koha Branches - a question from the field

Dear friends, A Koha (3.8) user colleague posed an interesting question today. At present at their college, they have created a College-level group, and under this they have created departmental branches. Books and other items belong to these departments as well as as to the college library. At present, these "departmental" libraries are strictly notional entities (they essentially represent subjects, funds and acquisition heads), as the actual items all reside at the college library's stacks. And therein lays the question. Performance Problems PERL

Dear All, We are using Koha version: 3.8.6, we installed firstly koha in SUSE, we decided change to DEBIAN due performance problems, however we see high cpu consume in PL process, yet. Is normal this cpu consume? Below, I printed top linux command. What notes fields show

Bug 9162 says that all 5xx (MARC21) or 3xx (UNIMARC) fields show in the title notes tab, but that's not the case, I know that we have had people ask to add notes fields to that. Can someone tell me what fields show in that tab by default - or tell me where to look in the code to find out? I'm documenting the new NotesBlacklist preference and want to say what fields show by default so you know which ones you can exclude. Nicole

Opinion regarding BZ9438 (acquisition notes)

Hello Our vendor wrote a patch correcting a bug in acquisition notes management. (http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=9438) But as Katrin Fisher pointed out, "the confusing behaviour has been there for a long while." So we want to be sure everybody agrees with the new behavior... Here is a description of the bug : When you create a new order in a basket from an existing record , Koha search for the field "notes" (300 unimarc, 500 marc21) in the record, and copy its content in the "notes" field of the order line. But the note in 300/500 fields contains bibliographic information ("contains index" etc), whereas "note" field on the ordeline contains information regarding the order ("very urgent" etc). So the patch breaks the connexion between bibliographic note and acquisition note. Does everybody agrees with this patch? Regards, M. Koha Upgrade- git

Each 6 months, a new version of Koha (3.4, 3.6, 3.8, 3.10...) released. And then, people will support more to make update once a month (for example 3.x.x). There are lot of problems with update& upgrade Koha earch version. Koha 3.6 was old-stable, but it is still supported, for someone who does not want to upgrade to Koha 3.8. Now koha 3.8 is stable version and 3.10 is new freeze version. Of course 3.10 has lots of bug fixed, better features, but has some new error, too. So if you did work with Koha before, i encourage you to use 3.10 (now newest is 3.10.2) and if not, use 3.8.9 is much easier.
