Some databases require a user/pass or make sure you are specifying the right database (ie Dynix is horizon) There is a directory of z39.50 servers on the web, but the name escapes me (someone else knows, I'm sure) Riley Childs Student Asst. I have everything set up and I can start cataloging but I want to add some Z39.50 servers so I can catalog easily and faster. I have some links of the university libraries I want to add and they do support Z39.50 but I couldn't manage to set them up in Koha. Addresses are like: http://divit.library.itu.edu.tr:211/z39/EGE i tried divit.library.itu.edu.tr as the hostname and 211 as the port and EGE as the database, but didnt worked. I tried z39/EGE as the database name but again, didn't work. What I am doing wrong and how can i fix it? I would really appreciate if you can tell me how can I get correct Z39.50 settings from the web addresses because Turkish Z39.50 servers are not listed anywhere. Koha Email not working

We are trying to get email working. We have installed postfix and can send an email from the terminal. We have turned on email by setting koha-email-enable. We are trying first to get Koha to send an email when we create a new patron. What are we missing. -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Koha-Email-not-working-tp5804290.html Sent from the Koha-general mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Re: [Koha] Items showing no location in the opac
by Riley Childs 15 Jul '14

Nope, the index is working and bib changes appear and it shows the location of the item (Charlotte United Christian Academy) in the staff client, but not in the OPAC. an example of it is at http://catalog.cucawarriors.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=432 in the items section under the location column, I cannot figure it out! Also don't judge on the lack of bib info, i'm fixing that ;) Riley Childs Junior IT Admin email: rchilds(a)cucawarriors.com office: +1 (704) 537-0031 x101 cell: +1 (704) 497-2086 Please Think Before Hitting Reply All I Do Web Design! search results and what exactly get indexed in the 245
by Hillyard, Cecil 14 Jul '14

14 Jul '14

We did an advanced search for title "David" and author "David Shannon" (without quotes) and not phrase searches and ended up with 79 results. Of these 79 it looks like only 12 have David in the title. Is the 245 $c field also being searched in the title index? sru stylesheet
by Eric Lease Morgan 14 Jul '14

14 Jul '14

Has anybody written an SRU to HTML stylesheet? Implementing Koha’s public Z39.50 server was as easy as uncommenting a few lines in koha-conf.xml. Tastes great. Less filling. Thanks! SRU then comes for free. Double thanks!! Search results against the SRU interface return raw MARCXML. While this is informative, it is not usable. I know I can create an XSL file to transform the SRU results into something more readable, and I know I can specify this XSL in the SRU URL. But before I go there I’m wondering: 1. Is there some additional configuration on the server side allowing me to display results more beautifully? 2. Has somebody else written an XSL file to transform the MARCXML into something more readable? — Eric Morgan
