Esteemed colleagues, This has absolutely nothing to do with Koha, but it does have to do with the Avenging Chicken, libraries, and interlibrary loans. If you're not interested, please hit the delete key now and accept my apologies for the post. For people not in the medical library field, a bit of explanation may be in order. Docline is an interlibrary loan system started by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, used by medical libraries throughout the U.S. and Canada. It is an absolutely wonderful system, especially when an article is needed RIGHT NOW for urgent patient care. When it was started in 1985, its mascot was Tugger, a dog owned by an NLM employee. Docline was extensively revised around 2019, and he was retired. Many people miss him, and he makes a brief appearance here. Several months ago, an earworm insinuated itself into my mind, and the symptoms became so severe that I was compelled to turn it into a stop-motion video starring the Avenging Chicken. For those of you not familiar with the 1966 American TV series, look up Batman and the composer Neal Hefti. thanks for reply, when i run the command I am getting this error > bash: misc/cronjobs/process_message_queue.pl: No such file or director > This should be run from Koha root directory on the server as the Koha user for your instance. Otherwise, include the full path to the file (use pwd to find your current location) and it should run fine.

Can someone help me on how we hide port number when our user access KOHA staff client in the internet. for security purposes. sample OPAC: opac.com.ph staff client: opac.com.ph:10001 I want to hide the 1001 i just saw someone answer to use 2 different IP addresses, https://lists.katipo.co.nz/public/koha/2014-April/039152.html how can i do that?

Dear Sir/madam Greetings. I have migrated Koha version 19.05 to Koha 22.05.08 in Ubuntu 22.04. An in-built SMTP server is enabled to send emails to the patron. The system sends the welcome email after new patron registration but it does not send the chekins and checkout email. it is showing the notice is pending. Please help me to figure it out. good day! Whenever we access our KOHA staff module over the internet we always use this method.. ( example: test.com.ph:4001) We want to set it to be accessible with only this (test.com.ph) without the port number, so that no one can see the open port that our koha is using. Is there a way to hide the port number. Thank you!

IssuingInProcess in practice

Hello everybody, Currently when set to "Don't prevent", the IssuingInProcess system preference will let a patron issue an item with a rental fee that takes them over the noissuescharge limit. Then they will be blocked on the next issue. Are there any libraries that have amended this behaviour to keep issuing as long as its within the same session, even as fines keep accruing? For example if the rental fee is $2, Koha will let them issue 3 items till their fines total $6, but are there any libraries that have this working so that the patron could issue 10 items in one go and end with fines totally $10?
