Hi folks Is anyone using the 'Library Bookshelves' plugin for WordPress? We seem to be having some trouble configuring this for our Koha instance and would welcome any advice! How to trigger emails to patrons about dues, library holidays or other messages

Hi Koha I have newly installed Koha 23.11 version working absolutely perfect. I have configured overdues notice/triggers properly and Koha sends email to patrons as per the policy. I was just looking, how to make koha to send emails if in case patron does not return the book even after due date or even after overdue notices? Also how to make koha to send emails to all the patrons about general Library information. Apart from the above, is there a method for complete single click Koha backup including database, configuration, item and patron information? Any suggestions in the regard would be great help for me. Dear all, I am using koha 23.11. I have enabled email notification for patrons-registration, checkout, check in. The registration notification is working perfectly well, however when I check in/checkout, the user doesn't get notification. When I check notifications status, it shows pending. I am using gmail smtp server. Kindly help. Regards

Session time outs in latest stable version?

Hello, Does the latest version of Koha have a new session time our setting? One that limits users to 90 min sessions? Last week I ran an update on my server and saw that the latest stable branch of Koha was available. The other updates looked like normal Debian patches/updates. I'm using a Debian VM on AWS Lightsail. A few days later, my main user of Koha started reporting that the server started to crash. He was getting a generic "Internal server error". After a few times of this, I was able to check the issue when it actually occured, but I was able to access the application without error. I don't see any errors messages in server logs. The user is able to log in and work for about 90 minutes each time and then he gets kicked out with the vague error message. After a long wait time, or a server reboot, he can log back in. We've been running Koha on the server for nearly a year without any issues. -Evan Stewart Africa's Hope Springfield, MO

Language instalation problem installing an adtional language

Hello all, I have got a test machine with koha 22.11.14 When i run koha@gbiblio2:~$ koha-translate --list pic_dgadr showing me pic_dgadr , thats a directory i created to put my koha pictures used o the opac. I wanted to install pt-PT language and then i run: koha@gbiblio2:~$ sudo koha-translate --install pt-PT Then obtained this messages: /usr/share/koha/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/prog/en/: Input must be a directory. (Symbolic links are not supported at the moment) Try `/usr/share/koha/misc/translator/tmpl_process3.pl --help for more information. /usr/share/koha/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/prog/en/: Input must be a directory. Running the comand koha-translate and trying to uninstall/remove the language installed pt-PT it doesnt get removed and it doesnt show a warning/error message Command used to remove pt-PT language: koha-translate --remove pt-PT The upgrade command also doesnt seem to have any efect koha-translate --update pt-PT doesnt show any warning/error message at all. Any sugestions that could solve my problem? Any way to verify the translated version? And if i cant remove the pt-PT language how can i manually remove it from koha language list? Place hold

Hello, If the availability is not available in the bibliographic record at OPAC, place hold will be active. For the records item available for loan we do not want to show place hold. Koha translation site mailing function cannot work

Dear Sir/Madam, We have some people to translate English to Chinese. But the translation site's mailing function seems not working now. So, they cannot get the registration mail or forget password notification. Can someone help to fix this? Thanks very much....
