Greetings all, the poll results for our Documentation workshop for February 2024 are in! Thanks to everybody who took the time to answer the poll. How to hide port number when accessing koha staff client in the browser.

Good day! Can someone help me on how we hide port number when our user access KOHA staff client in the internet. for security purposes. sample OPAC: opac.com.ph staff client: opac.com.ph:10001 I want to hide the 1001 i just saw someone answer to use 2 different IP addresses, https://lists.katipo.co.nz/public/koha/2014-April/039152.html how can i do that?

Dear Sir/madam Greetings. I have migrated Koha version 19.05 to Koha 22.05.08 in Ubuntu 22.04. An in-built SMTP server is enabled to send emails to the patron. The system sends the welcome email after new patron registration but it does not send the chekins and checkout email. it is showing the notice is pending. Please help me to figure it out. good day! Whenever we access our KOHA staff module over the internet we always use this method.. ( example: test.com.ph:4001) We want to set it to be accessible with only this (test.com.ph) without the port number, so that no one can see the open port that our koha is using. Is there a way to hide the port number. Thank you!

IssuingInProcess in practice

Hello everybody, Currently when set to "Don't prevent", the IssuingInProcess system preference will let a patron issue an item with a rental fee that takes them over the noissuescharge limit. Then they will be blocked on the next issue. Are there any libraries that have amended this behaviour to keep issuing as long as its within the same session, even as fines keep accruing? For example if the rental fee is $2, Koha will let them issue 3 items till their fines total $6, but are there any libraries that have this working so that the patron could issue 10 items in one go and end with fines totally $10? Dear Sir/madam Please help to resolve this issue : I have a system with Ubuntu 16.04 and Koha version 19.05. Yesterday I installed koha 22.05.08 in Ubuntu 22.04. and migrated the old data (Koha 19.05) to (Koha 22.05.08. When I search any patron by name I am getting this error Something went wrong when loading the table. 500: Internal Server Error. Month out of range. Month out of range. Month out of range. Call number display in holdings table and

I need the call number field from Marc21 082a displayed in the holdings table in the bibliographic detail of the record in the OPAC. I tried using the value builder cn_browser.pl, but it did nothing. I removed it from the marc framework and now when clicking on the title of a book from the catalog search screen gives this error: "The record you requested does not exist()." However, if I click on the pic of the book cover, the record displays fine. What can I do to fix this and display the call number in that table? Thank you, Andrew Hartung

Hello koha developers ! I'm very happy to open the registrations for the Marseille Koha hackfest. Some information: * *date* : April 8th > April 12th * *location*: BibLibre office, 23 rue Fauchier, 13002 Marseille *[NEW ADDRESS]* * *what is the cost* ? 0€ (I let you calculate in your own currency ;) ) * who can come: anyone with a laptop o librarian who want to contribute to Koha: test new version, test new features, document, translate, ... o developers who want to contribute to Koha: test technical patches, write unit tests, work on package, unit test, Elasticsearch, ERM module, LRMisation of Koha, or anything else ;) * can I come just for a part of the week ? Yes, but coming at least 3 days seems needed * coffee, tea, and break : provided by BibLibre. Feel free to come with candies from your country * what about lunch ? BibLibre organize, and ask for 21€ per lunch per person (veggie & gluten-free option available). * what about the cheese lunch ? On Tuesday :D * *How to register* ?
