How configure OAI

Dear community, We are using Koha tarball 3.18.05 on Ubuntu 12.04.5. Resently we enabled in system preferences OAI-PHM , but we couldn't harvest record from Koha using MarcEdit. Is it nessesary to install SOPAC2 and how can we install it in our Koha version . Please, help with instructions. Thenks, Araik.

Multiple holds for same title for book club librarian

Dear Colleagues, There are times when a librarian needs to put multiple copies of the same title on hold in order to collect all of these copies of that title for distribution to book club members. Is there a way that Koha can allow multiple holds of the same title on a single patron account or a way to override the to block to this? Maybe a recall order on a title...? zebra search not working with error 114

Hi, For 2 years we've used Koha in a small community library in Alès, France; I'm not a professional librarian. Search did not work anymore with recently acquired items but it was OK for old ones; i updated koha from version 3.18.9 to version 3.18.10, but now the search doesn't work for any of the items. It doesn't work for a general search neither for a particular search (title, author, etc) The format of the database is unimarc. When i look at the zebrasrv logs it says zebrasrv(1) e0489cb5 [request] Search biblios ERROR 114 1 1+0 RPN @attrset Bib-1 @attr 1=1016 @attr 4=6 @attr 5=1 social I tried the yaz client directly, it says : # yaz-client -c /etc/koha/zebradb/ccl.properties unix:/var/run/koha/laretive/bibliosocket Connecting...OK. Reinstalling koha 3.18.9 and reimporting the database doesn't help. A message in the mail archive related to this error [1] says that it could be related to the hidelostitems parameter, so i switched it but that didn't change anything. Another message in the archives [2] says that etc/zebradb/biblios/etc/dom-config.xml should be 54 lines long, and i found out that my etc/koha/zebradb/biblios/etc/dom-config.xml in only 48 lines long (but it's the file from the debian package so i guess it's correct). Haven't introduced myself yet - I work for a small public library and have been using Koha for about 5 years. Just switched to Equinox and am new to the list. Dear list, we have opened the vote for the location of the Kohacon 2016 community conference. You can find the proposals in the Koha wiki at http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/KohaCon16_Proposals We decided on a simple form over a ranking at the IRC meeting a few minutes ago. The rules are simple: * everybody can vote * one vote per person The voting period is one week. The vote is open until 16 September 2015, 12 UTC. I am a fresher in Koha and just want to get a solution that, is there any option to search by title or author while check out a material? I can see only Barcode option for check out.
