doubt regarding marc21 tag related to handling multiple imprint info

I've got a group of related information in separate columns . imprint, Publishername, pulisher place, pubyear and distributer name In the imprint column details about press is given, for some records only eg. Using z39.50 and http svc API do update biblios.

Hello, I connect to my koha z39.50 for updating using marcedit. I have huge problem 'cause no error from marcedit but my koha database is not updating at all. Is there prerequested to be able to do that? Data Leakage through Cover Requests

Greetings, An article came to my attention today that suggests that private data is being read by Amazon and Google when patrons use an OPAC that pulls cover images from these services. The article is here: <https://go-to-hellman.blogspot.com/2016/12/how-to-check-if-your-library-is-…> What is not clear to me is if Koha has this same problem, and if so, if it can be prevented. The blog post outlines a procedure for testing for this issue, but it's beyond my skill level to try it; perhaps someone else has the time and interest. If such evil is the price of having cover images served by third parties, then we can each decide if it's worth it, or if we want to develop a workaround. Regards, / Bruce / Bruce A. Koha zebra indexing stops every day morning.

Hello, I am using Koha 16.05.04.000 version on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS. Problem is that, each day morning OPAC searching stops. We checked the status of Koha-common service. Its active. But after restarting koha-common, everything starts working fine. Checked koha logs files for any errors. But no errors logged in log files. Error creating "default" data during fresh install

Hi all, I've installed a fresh Koha instance using the "oldstable" packages on Ubuntu 16.04 and MySQL. I've followed the process at https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_ubuntu_-_packages#Add_A_Koha_Co mmunity_Repository and the install goes fine until after I login to the web interface and try to create "default" data. The DB itself gets created successfully and says I have the permissions needed, but then fails with the following error when I try to create default/sample item types, patron categories, etc. (I just left the default choices selected): DBIx::Class::Storage::DBI::_dbh_execute(): Data truncated for column 'type' at row 1 at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Objects.pm line 101 Anyone know what might be causing this and how to recover/move on? Thank you Marshall, I agree with many of the points listed in this message. Chris, what is your biggest concern other than the fact that this data is not free to download? Marshall, would you be looking for some form of compensation for us to list this on the KC website? How can we reach a middle ground here? It would be extremely unfortunate to pass up on this fantastic tool because of our inability to work together in a way that benefits both of us. Maybe this is a topic we can discuss and vote on during the next general meeting, and I would love to hear other’s opinions. My role as the Community Marketer (or whatever the role is called) is to effectively promote Koha to as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, with zero budget. I see this map hitting all of those points.
