Delete all patrons

Hi All, Is there a way to delete all patrons form a specific library-- no matter what -- even if they meet any of the criteria: They have items currently checked out. They have a non-zero account balance. They are the guarantor to another patron. They are in a patron category of type staff. They have permissions assigned to them. --- these are all "Students" (patron category). They are all kindergarten students. We have no expectation of ever collecting a fine, and if they want to keep a book...we are OK with that. -S

Invitation to first German Koha Hackfest

Hello, we would like to invite you to the first German-speaking Koha-DACH-Hackfest in Karlsruhe. Location: Library of the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) Straße am Forum 2 76131 Karlsruhe Germany Itinerary: Monday, 4th November start at 13:00 PM (arrival before noon) Tuesday, 5th November all day Wednesday, 6th November until 13:00 PM (departure in the afternoon) Target group: Anyone who has previous experience working with Koha either in a professional or in a private capacity and who wants to get on board for further development of Koha or wants to help out in the Koha Community. Knowledge of how to use Koha is a prerequisite. Workshops and community exchange are the main focus of the event. It is not meant as a training session. Please note that our planned workshops will be held in German only! Patron search not working in 24.05 (Month out of range)

Hi, yesterday I did the upgrade to 24.05 (from 22.11 → 23.05 → 23.11 → 24.05) and I have the "500 - Month out of range" error again in patron search. I already checked the borrowers.date_renewed and set it to NULL, but the search is still not working (https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=32641) I have no errors in intranet-errors.log Any ideas how to solve or at least debug the issue? Hello everybody, Could someone please provide instructions on how to use thenew feature (lock records) functionality that arrived with the Koha 24.05.00(and Koha 24.05.01) releases? Thanks

Hi. The record source information will only show on a record's details page if the record has a record source recorded. If a record doesn't have a record source (which is the case for all existing records), then nothing will show on the record's details page. At the moment, it is not possible to add a record source to a record using the staff interface. A record source can only be added (as far as I can tell) by: 1. Using the API when importing records, OR 2. Developing your own plugin to use the new code, OR 3. Possibly by updating the database directly (I'm not sure on this point). I'm not sure why you are being redirected when you try to access Koha administration > Catalog > Record sources. Does your use case for locking records match with the use case for this new feature? It may help the developers if you could describe your interest, what you would like it to do. Unless you are a Koha developer, then I don't think there is an easy way to use this new feature yet. As indicated in my initial response, this is a new feature and there are bugs for more enhancements.
