Plcak Status not showing in about page

I enabled plack in my instances by following the https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Plack. It does not show any error, and if I again put the same command it shows the warning the Plack is already running but In my instance, in the Koha About page does not show the Plack status. Running this command sudo grep Include /etc/apache2/sites-available/library.conf shows the output of Include /etc/koha/apache-shared.conf # Include /etc/koha/apache-shared-disable.conf Include /etc/koha/apache-shared-opac-plack.conf Include /etc/koha/apache-shared-opac.conf Include /etc/koha/apache-shared.conf # Include /etc/koha/apache-shared-disable.conf Include /etc/koha/apache-shared-intranet-plack.conf Include /etc/koha/apache-shared-intranet.conf May I know why the status of Plack is not showing in the About page? koha Version : 23.05.11 With regards Anupama Texicon Software Solutions

New Books List

Hello, I have created a SQL Query about the newly entered books. I have a list called New Books in the Lists module. In order to keep the list up to date, I run the SQL Query and save the list to my computer, get the barcode numbers and add them to the New Books list in the User lists. These operations cause a waste of time. Is there a way to add the SQL Query to the User Lists? Do you use a different method to promote books that are newly entered into Koha? Problems with the facebook web crawler

Is anyone else getting problems with the facebook web crawler hammering their OPAC search function? This has been happening on and off for a couple of months but set in with a vengeance a couple of days ago. The crawler is hitting us with many OPAC search queries, beyond the capacity of our system to respond. robots.txt is being ignored I started by blocking facebook's entire IPv6 range as the queries were all coming in over IPv6. They responded by switching to IPv4 and because they have a number of blocks it wasn't practical to block each and every one of them. I've temporarily switched off OPAC entirely and the system has returned to normal and I can at least perform intranet functions but this is obviously non-ideal. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm running 22.05.13.000 on Ubuntu. Thanks Nigel

In line 59 we read " # GD autodetects three basic image formats: PNG, JPEG, XPM; we will convert all to PNG which is lossless..." What is the point of converting a lossy format like jpeg to a lossless one, especially as this means that the resulting file will increase in size, needlessly increasing database size and backup times? I beg to differ, I can't accept that reducing image quality and increasing file size can be considered "fine work". Images quality reduction

Dear Community Whenever I upload a local cover image, the quality of the image gets reduced by Koha. This happens when you try to preview a record cover image or cover image in a large view by clicking on it either on OPAC or the Staff interface. For example if the original image is 300dpi, the quality is reduced and renders content too blurry to see any details in the photo. Is there a possible way to change parameters in order to increase the image quality for both OPAC and Staff interfaces ? Make all the cover pictures 300 dpi for instance? I tried with no avail with some CSS tags: .cover-image img .chocolat-image-wrapper .chocolat-img Regards, Russel Shihepo
