Problems with Kohadev

Good morning, I have faced a problem with Kohadev installation... when I try a fresh install and goes to the admin, I get a internal error server. checking the logs there are two problems.. 1. lack of Search::Elasticsearch 2. Plack causes permanent CPU load of 100%

Hi We are running Koha 16.11.01 on Debian GNU/Linux 8 (64-bit). Since some weeks we see Plack causing an almost permanent CPU load of 100% (maybe this happened after a regular update of the Debian Perl packages?). The file "/var/log/koha/INSTANCE/plack.log" constantly gets lines like the following added: Error while loading /etc/koha/plack.psgi: Can't load application from file "/usr/share/koha/api/v1/app.pl": Can't locate object method "cache_dir" via package "Swagger2::SchemaValidator" at /usr/share/perl5/Swagger2.pm line 41. Compilation failed in require at (eval 1221) line 1. A restart of the host doesn't solve the problem. For the moment we have stopped Plack and deactivated it completely. Bug: passwords should be HTML-encoded when displayed during self-registration

Hi, all. Our library uses self-registration quite a bit, and I've recently stumbled upon a bug that can occur when Koha generates a random password for a user during self-registration and attempts to display it to the user since these passwords are not HTML-encoded. I have documented the bug here: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19911. Basically, the PatronSelfRegistrationPrefillForm preference can be set so that self-registered patrons are shown their password upon creating an account. This setting is necessary at our library because we do not allow patrons to select their own passwords during self-registration due to bug 19845, https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19845. If the password that is generated randomly by Koha contains the less-than character, <, browsers think that this is the beginning of an HTML element, so the less-than character and anything after it are not displayed to the user. Paul and Tomas Yes, as mentioned by Tomas, I wanted it to embed, like in the manual http://translate.koha-community.org/manual/16.05/en/html-desktop/index.html… It's supposed to add a tab an embed the video in it. If I change the sys pref HTML5MediaYouTube to "Don't embed", it works just like in your example, i.e. add a link to the record. But that's not what I wanted... :/ Caroline Cyr La Rose, M.S.I.
