ES not retrieve OPAC indexes

Hi. Elasticsearch does not retrieve indexes by marc field 700ae, 710abe. I have added the marc field on file mappings.yaml and reindexed full but without recovering those indexes. --

Hello, (I've tried sending this email twice but it is not getting onto the mailing list. Trying a third time). I did this process on an older version of Koha (22.05), but it's not working for me on version 23.11.06 (maybe I forgot steps along the way?). I'm wanting to export records from one instance (on server A) and import them into another instance (on server B). My team does this because we catalog books at a home library in the USA and then ship books to libraries at our partner schools in Africa. Each library on the home instance is created under a unique branch. They have their own server running Koha just for their local library. Steps I've done: 1. Export the records from instance on server A (instance A). 2. Use MarcEdit to replace the old 952$a and 952$b fields to the branch code used in the new instance on server B (instance B) 3. Log into instance B and go to More > Cataloging > Stage records for import 4. Complete the options and click Stage for Import 5. The info message appears "the job has been enqueued!) but with 0% progress 6. Job appears to fail, but no message about why. Tthe job list shows the job as "progress 0/0". *Koha info:* Koha version: 23.11.06.000 OS version: Linux raspberry 5.10.0-15-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.120-1 (2022-06-09) x86_64 Perl interpreter: /usr/bin/perl Perl version: 5.032001 This process was tested and works on an earlier version of Koha 22.05. I'm trying to discover why it stalls on version 23.

Problems with barcodes in Koha 24.05.01

Hi 1. We have barcodes containing the slash character "/", like: 03/07851-a03073 In Koha menu "Circulation > Holds queue" barcodes are now links, and the above barcode is shown as 03%2F07851-a03073 - is it possible to get rid of this unwanted HTML entity %2F and instead show the correct character "/" ? 2. We also have barcodes containing spaces, like: Soz 2432-b02732 In Koha menus "Circulation > Cataloging > Batch item modification" resp. "Batch item deletion" it is possible to insert barcodes into a list. But when inserting the above barcode Soz 2432-b02732 and clicking "Continue" the screen says: Warning, the following barcodes were not found: Barcodes not found Soz 2432-b02732 So it seems like in this specific menu (but not elsewhere) Koha is interpreting the space as a delimiter for a new barcode and thinks these are two barcodes which is not true. How can we teach Koha to accept "Soz 2432-b02732" as just one barcode like Koha does everywhere else? By the way this problem already existed in Koha 19.11. Hi Ruqaiya, We are also a Moodle and Koha institution and I'm unaware of any integration between the two. Search would be easy; you can create an HTML block with a form that searches Koha. We have a "common resources" block with links to various sites and a search box for our discovery layer. It's included in all courses using a template plugin. Placing reserves or viewing checkout status is much more complicated, because it requires authentication. This could be done using Koha APIs but it would be a decent amount of development work.
