I have install Koha on Ubuntu 16.04 Version with Koha Ubuntu Package. Overdue reminder emails in Koha

Hello, Is there any way to configure Koha to send out a reminder email a couple of days BEFORE a book is due back? For example, can I enter a negative number in the "Delay" field on the overdue notice / status triggers screen? Also is there a log kept of the overdue notices that have been sent? I am using Postfix to send mail, and Koha 17.11 Thanks, Chris Brown

Translation of main user block etc

Requesting opinions on proposed change to cataloging interface

I'm in the process of updating the staff client templates so that they use a Bootstrap grid instead of the (very very old) YUI grid. The goal of this change is to improve the staff client's adaptability to screens of various sizes. Bug 20044 - https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=20044 I've made changes to the "basic" cataloging editor which make some elements of the page more responsive to page width. Hi Ashley! I've never used 3.18, so my answer might not be 100% right. I often get that error if I don't fill out the control fields (000, 003, 008, and especially 005 which I always forget). If you want to see which fields are mandatory, go to Administration > MARC bibliographic framework. Be sure to check the right framework you were using while cataloging (to check that, click on the Settings button in the cataloging form https://snag.gy/cNuFsB.jpg) Once you're in the right framework, there is a column that says "Mandatory". This applies to the entire field. So for example, 000 is mandatory. However, subfields also have a "mandatory" flag. I'm not sure if you can have a mandatory subfield in a non mandatory field (not sure that makes sense), but I'd check that too. For example, 245 might not be mandatory, but 245 $a might be mandatory. If you don't want to check all the 999+ subfields manually, you can export your framework in Excel or equivalent and check the mandatory column for 1's. Let me know if you need more help! Cataloging Error

Hello Koha list, I am receiving the following error when I try to add an item to the catalog: Form not submitted because of the following problem(s) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - 1 mandatory fields empty (highlighted) I am not seeing any fields highlighted and nothing seems to be missing! I was able to get it to work last time by re-staging the record from OCLC, but no luck this time. We are running 3.18 (yes, we need to upgrade, it's on our to do list). I have looked in the user manual under adding items and MARC frameworks, but haven't found anything helpful yet. Any ideas where to start or where to look in the manual? I'm not a particularly savvy Koha user. :) Thank you!!! Wonder how hard it would be implement something like this in Koha: http://tallons.law.utexas.edu/record=b2070846 (see dark blue Map It! button on the right, next to Status) This is provided through a commercial product, but the basic technology doesn't seem all that complicated (from a layman's point of view!) Trickiest part is perhaps making sure the cn_sort values in the item records are correct? Adding custom font for label creator via koh-config.xml

I have already added the font in /usr/share/fonts/truetype Then refer in koha-config.xml by assigning a different shortcode but it is not showing i label creator. What I am missing? Md. Koha reports wiki

Hi, All -- Apologies for the cross-posting. The clean up of the Reports wiki page appears to have got stalled out: https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/SQL_Reports_Library (Large no. of duplicate listings of reports for holds, patrons, & circulation (HPC), which also appear on corresponding pages -- https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/SQL_Reports_Holds, etc.) I've identified the reports on the main page that aren't cross-listed (19 in total). I'd like to relocate these & then delete all the listings under the HPC categories on the main page. I suspect these pages see a lot of use, however, so I don't want to barge in and inadvertently make things worse. Anything I should be aware of before jumping in?
