NCIP User Question - biblionum in 001 vs 999c

Hi all, The HELM libraries of Massachusetts are new to Koha as of June, 2018. We are currently working to bring up our instance in the statewide lending system. The NCIP message from the statewide lending system is using the 001 for the biblio number but koha stores this value in the 999c The question are: 1. Has anyone developed a connector that looks in the 001? 2. Has anyone developed a system to copy the 999c value into the 001? 3. Hello community, some of you already know it, today is my last day at BibLibre as a project manager. I want to send a big thank you to the whole community, this has been an awesome experience, both on the professional front and the human one. I give great importance to nurturing human relations and treating them as the single most important thing we have, and i feel this community definitely shares this value. Please keep being the same open minded and positive people i have met! I also really want to congratulate the whole community for its efforts and involvement in this project. Koha really is an impressive endeavor, but it's also a massively successful one. Of course that is all thanks to your incredible energy, your amazing skills and your unbreakable will to make things work. I won't be too far and maybe we'll be in touch again! I believe people who attended the hackfest in Marseille know the way to the bar pretty well by now and will find it without me. In fact i will certainly be the one missing these moments the most! Meeting you at the hackfests and kohacons has probably been the best part of my experience here. A few words about what i will be doing from now on: as a couple of you might know, i have been studying Indonesian music for almost 14 years now, for fun. I have applied for the Indonesian government's Darmasiswa academic program, and am leaving there to study music, and more specifically shadow puppet theater (wayang kulit). Good things ahead! Display 9xx field in OPAC

Hi community, I want to display 905 field $a in OPAC as we use it for our local needs and we want the patrons to be able to see it. I changed the options here: /Home › Administration › MARC frameworks › Default framework structure › Tag 905 Subfield structure/ and selected the subfield $a to be visible in opac but with no luck... Here (https://lists.katipo.co.nz/public/koha/2016-December/046874.html) they suggest to edit this file: /usr/share/koha/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/<language>/xslt/MARC21slim2OPACDetail.xsl Is this correct? Regional_Language_Display_Issue

new authorized value for damaged: tinyint vs int

Hi, I've defined a new authorized value for the DAMAGED category. In my database, this corresponds to id = 256 in the authorised_values table, where id is an int(11). However, when I try to select that authorized value for a particular item, my choice is not recorded. I noticed that items.damaged is described as tinyint(1). In fact, if I try to update items manually and set 256, this is automatically converted into 127. How can I solve this problem? Is it a bug I should report, or rather a database upgrade in my system which did not take place correctly? Many thanks and best regards, Giuseppe.

Hi, I am trying to use koha inventory feature but when I upload a text file with barcodes and click on submit, it shows me the message " no valid barcodes! " Can anyone please urgently tell me what I am doing wrong or need to do to correctly perform this? Thanks
