Hi Krishna, We have the same issue. To get around it, once you get to the journal page we use Ctrl F then type the keyword again and it is highlighted on the page and shows which specific issue it is in. Not perfect, but workable. If there is a better way, I'd love to use it too. When the number of magazine issues is very large, this search result is not useful. Could anyone guide us in terms of how to show the relevant *items* with the searched terms in the public note, in the search result ? Check out restriction to category / branch for School Libraries

Hi again. I have the fallowing scenario: 1 Koha instance 1 Public Library 20 Public Schools I want to restrict holds between the Public Library and School Libraries but I don't want to restrict holds between School Libraries. With independentbraches doesn't work because it will restrict everything. I've tried to limit Patron categories to respectively libraries but didn't worked. Hi all, We are using Koha 17.11.05 and we recently went live with entry of periodical/serial subscriptions and recorded receipts of magazine issues. However, when we do an OPAC search, the search result shows only the subscription information and not the specific issue that has the searched keyword in it. Let me explain with an example - 1. Getting data from VTLS Virtua

Dear all, I am looking to get all important data (MARC,Loans, Funds, Patrons, Users, etc) from VTLS Virtua, using ssh connection, at now I found only how to get MARC records, where I use write2709.exe program. I found also some old koha scripts to deal with MARC records. But all other data I don't know how to extract. Dear Community, I have been trying to restore my old koha db to the latest koha 18.5 but I am getting error when invoking the upgrade schema library command. The error line is system preferences doesn't exist at database line 110. Request for help. Thank you Larisa

Problem staging MARC records for import in Koha 18.05

Dear all, I have a .mrc file with 2795 records in it. When I try to upload it to stage it for import, it gets stuck at 100% and never displays the importing options to continue. If I cut it into, let's say 30 or so records, It works fine but that's not ideal... Besides, if I import the file containing 2795 rcs into a prior installation running 16.11, the whole batch is successfully imported so it should also work in v18.05, right? Patrons account expires once the user login to opac

Hi All, I have a problem with the patrons expiry, all patron accounts expires once user login to opac even is I renewed them from my admin side. We have an integration with ldap but again under (/etc/koha/sites/alfaisal/koha-conf.xml) I have the expiry date updated to (<dateexpiry is="">2019-09-30</dateexpiry>), so when I do the renewal from the admin side it's renewed to that date (2019-09-30) but once the user login to the opac and logout it changed to one year back which it was the old date in koha-conf.xml, I also updated the dates under (Patron categories) under enrollment period to be (2019-09-30), but all of this didn't work, any suggestions.
