Hi to the list, My name is Robert Flach, and I'm the new librarian for a small church library that was on a card-catalogue system and then managed by several people who didn't keep up with said catalog. I've gotten koha installed (ubuntu package version), and mostly configured. I've purchased a barcode scanner and receipt printer and have them working as well. I would seem to be on my way. So my first project is to do a complete inventory, and that starts with transferring all records into the electronic system from the card catalog and getting them barcoded. The big challenge I have is with cataloging non-traditional books. Basically, I can handle adding records when I can find a MARC Record that I can download through Z39.50/SRU, but the church library has a very large contingent of materials that don't have isbn's and don't exist in any Z39.50 db. Lot's of pamphlets and small self-published books and the like. I was looking for a solution that would give me a super simplified entry form for these types of materials that would match the info that I have available in the card catalogue (title, author, subject, dewey #, section, barcode), and which would be halfway readable and usable by my children helpers who are helping me inventory and catalog everything. I could live with a few extra fields, but even the most simplified MARC-looking record interface is daunting for them (and for me for that matter, though I can get by and have been reading about marc). I saw a post on the mailing list from some time ago where someone had provided an SQL dump of their super simplified BRF Framework that seemed to be just what I would want, but it was for koha v3.2 or so, and I have v18.05. I did a test import after backing up, and it definitely wouldn't import. So, with all that as background, my question is: Is there a place where these types of things--bits and pieces that work for particular purposes that can be imported easily--are shared regularly? If not, does anyone have something similar to that dump but for v18.05 that you are already using with your non-marc librarians? Something that leaves off all the marc information (even if they fields are still being stored behind the scenes to a marc21 format record of course, and just let's them enter the information that they understand with labels that they understand? Internal Server Eror when trying to authenticate

Hi When using Koha 16.05 we have set up a script "auth_divibib.pl" to authenticate against Divibib (a German company that does about the same as Overdrive). The script contained lines like use C4::Members; ... use DateTime; my $today = DateTime->today->date; ... my ($borr) = C4::Members::GetMemberDetails($borrowernumber); return("1", "0", "0") if defined ($borr->{'debarred'}); if ($borr->{'dateexpiry'} lt $today) { return("-3", "0", "0") } After updating to Koha 18.05 unfortunately this is no more working as before. We have seen in Bug https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17578 there was a change in C4::Members so we tried to change C4::Members::GetMemberDetails to C4::Members::GetMember in the code. But still the file throws an "Internal Server Error" in the browser and the following error appears in file "plack-error.log". Variable "$today" is not available at /usr/share/koha/opac/cgi-bin/opac/auth_divibib.pl line 164. Undefined subroutine &C4::Members::GetMember called at /usr/share/koha/opac/cgi-bin/opac/auth_divibib.pl line 158. Can anyone give us a hint how to solve that problem? Coverflow on Koha 18.05

Hi everybody, does anybody know if Coverflow Plugin works on Koha 18.05? We are currently working with Koha 16.11 on Debian 8, where it works just fine; but we are setting up a new installation in another server and we took the opportunity to switch to 18.05, on a Debian 8 as well. We've ckecked that both the instance's apache configuration file and koha-conf.xml are configured with the same parameters. Coverflow calls to an existing report and the report returns results when ran. We've tried both with the latest Coverflow version on gitHub and with the one that is currently working correctly on our 16.11 install. Missing "merge selected" button

Hi all, For some weird reason I can't merge biblio records after searching in my catalog. The manual says that after finding duplicates, I should be able of checking "the boxes next to the duplicates and click the ‘Merge selected’ button at the top of the results.": https://koha-community.org/manual/18.05/en/html/cataloging.html#merging-rec… However, what I see over the found records is only this: "Select all | Clear all | Unhighlight | Add to list | Place hold | Z39.50/SRU search | Sort" I can't see that button anywhere in the entire staff interface, even after selecting the records. Where should it be? Could the reason be that the duplicate records belong to different branches? I've switched "IndependentBranches" to "No" but still no difference. And anyway, I have superlibrarian permissions. I'm running Koha 18.05. Ruben

008 Field builder - blank screen

We have a problem with the 008 field builder. Here's a link to a screen of the field builder that appears when editing a new record from a z39.50 download. There's no way to edit it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0ag4Jlx4aGmYlJhN1dLS3hob3ZPVVdsR0RWUk1WTV… I f we create a record ourselves, the 008 seems to work fine. Has anyone encountered this problem? This happens on Chrome on a Mac and also on Windows (but I don't know what browser). XSLT to add ISBD punctuation

Hello all, Do any of you have any expertise on XSLT? I'm trying to have Koha add ISBD punctuation to my records in Detail view. I've started with MARC field 245.
