Problem staging MARC records for import in Koha 18.05

Dear all, I have a .mrc file with 2795 records in it. When I try to upload it to stage it for import, it gets stuck at 100% and never displays the importing options to continue. If I cut it into, let's say 30 or so records, It works fine but that's not ideal... Besides, if I import the file containing 2795 rcs into a prior installation running 16.11, the whole batch is successfully imported so it should also work in v18.05, right? Patrons account expires once the user login to opac

Hi All, I have a problem with the patrons expiry, all patron accounts expires once user login to opac even is I renewed them from my admin side. We have an integration with ldap but again under (/etc/koha/sites/alfaisal/koha-conf.xml) I have the expiry date updated to (<dateexpiry is="">2019-09-30</dateexpiry>), so when I do the renewal from the admin side it's renewed to that date (2019-09-30) but once the user login to the opac and logout it changed to one year back which it was the old date in koha-conf.xml, I also updated the dates under (Patron categories) under enrollment period to be (2019-09-30), but all of this didn't work, any suggestions. Inventory lists incorrectly sorted

Hi all, Has anyone had a problem where the lists generated by the inventory tool don't seem to be sorted correctly? I received reports of this and during my investigation I found https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19021 but that didn't seem to solve the root problem, which actually appears to be with the item data stored in the database - rather than Koha code per se. I've opened https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21447 to look into this. I've solved it in my case using touch_all_items.pl, but it might not be feasible for everyone to run this. Keen to hear ideas about how people think we should resolve this issue for all people. Field 606 doesnt add multiple x subfields

Hi On field 606, If I use an Authority with multiple "x" subfields, it will add just the first "x" I think is a bug from recent koha versions because it was working with our Koha until now. I've tested with BibLibre demo (http://intranet-demo.biblibre.com/) and it works fine (Ver 17.11) With 18.05 doesn't work. Restoration of old Koha database to new one

Hi, I have installed koha 17.11 successfully. i am trying to restore data from an old version (Koha 3.18) . after dropping the new database and restoring the old one. i tried to upgrade the database schema using *koha-upgrade-schema library, then it gives this error on command line:*Use of uninitialized value in numeric lt (<) at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/installer/data/mysql/updatedatabase.pl line 5531. Failed to add reserve_id to reserves tables, please refresh the page to try again. at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/installer/data/mysql/ updatedatabase.pl line 5591. please what can i do? Thanks.

Merge Bib Records - Where is the Merge Button?

Hello, maybe I'm blind, but I can't find the button to merge records. The manual says to search for a record, select the ones you want to merge and click the Button "Merge selected" at the top. But I don't see that button. I'm using version 18.05 Thanks for your help. Regards, Stephan

Hi again all, so, this patch is now passed QA. Many thanks to those who took a look and tested! :) What I am trying to do is create an up to date look for the out-of-the-box Koha OPAC. Again, it is just the styling that is being changed, not functionality. Requesting feedback on changing the default behavior for loading the OPAC cart popup

Hi all I am writing in regards to bug 21174 (Sysprefs to enable the opening of OPAC cart in one click - https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21174) In my commit on this bug report I implement a syspref which when enabled allows OPAC users to click on the cart icon once and the cart pop-up is loaded. Katrin, Owen and myself would like to know: does anyone really love the way the cart popup currently loads? That is you click on the cart icon a dropdown box appears saying 'Items in your cart: ...' and you have to click on that dropdown option to load the cart popup. We would like to know the opinion on the community for making clicking on the cart icon once and loading the cart popup the default behavior. i.e. make this updated interaction the default. The dropdown box saying 'Items in your cart: ...' probably isn't necessary because in the commits on the aforementioned bug report show the number of items in the cart to the right of the cart icon - so the user knows how many items are in their cart.
