SIP 2 connection (RAW 6001) only function to 1 machine ONLY

Hi There, Our koha version 17.11 (ubuntu 14.04) able to connect with SIP2 to one machine ONLY. FYI, we have 2 machines (Self-check, Book Drop) and a Tagging Workstation that needed to be connected concurrently. If I activated Selfcheck, Book Drop and tagging workstation will be disconnected from SIP2 . All 3 above need to be connected from port 6001 (RAW) service. How do I do that? Please assist me. Holds in Koha 18.11

Hello, I want to be sure to understand properly the circulation rules because I haven't found the complete information in the manual (perhaps, I haven't looked at the good place?) In the first table of the "Circulation and fines rules" page, we can find this three column: Holds allowed (total) Holds allowed (daily) Holds per record (count) Holds allowed (total): does it mean the maximum of items that could be reserved for an itemtype / patron category at once? Holds allowed (daily): does it mean the number of items that could be reserved per day for an itemtype / patron category? Holds per record (count) : does it mean the maximum of records that could be reserved for an itemtype / patron category at once? What the syspref maxreserves is about ? items or records? If patrons try to reserve several itemtype and the total of reservation of each itemtype is bigger than the maxreserves syspref, would they be blocked when they will reach the number of holds put in the syspref? In the table of the circulation rules : "Default checkout, hold and return policy", does the column "Maximum total holds allowed (count)" concern items or records? In the table "Checkout, hold policy by patron category", it's possible to put a limit of holds by category type : is it the number of records or items? Does Koha always use the lower of the limits for each settings usable? opac search returned results doesn't show title information

Hi, When I upgraded koha17.11 to 18.11 （unimarc）, the opac search returned results list doesn't show title information,but the intranet search returned results show very well. How to solve this problem? Peter

Ordering MARC subfields

Dear colleagues, we are facing problem with ordering of subfields in some specific MARC fields. For example we need to have 787 with subfields having exactly this order: i, t, g. And there are several other fields suffering from the same issue like 336 2, a, b. Is there a way how to instruct a cataloguing framework to follow the given order of subfields? Or, should we file a request for improvement in bugzilla? Thanks Radek Šiman

3M self-check email and print receipts upon check-in and check-out

We have a 3M self-check machine. Currently, most of our library users should have an email address and therefore the 3M self-check is configured so that email notices are sent to them automatically through Koha for check-in and check-out. There is no STMP setup for the 3M self-check machine. However, if there’s no email address for a particular user, can Koha be set up so that it can talk to the 3M self-check to initiate printing of receipt for check-in and check-out? OVERDUE FINES FAILED TO INCREMENT

Help with SQL report

Greetings Colleagues, I have been attempting to use the "Biblios with like data in a subfield of a field" report which is found within the Koha reports library at https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/SQL_Reports_Library#Biblios_with_like_…; however, no matter what values I input into the report dialog boxes, I still get a long list of my system's complete holdings instead of a much shorter list of records from a certain vendor. I did notice that I needed to change the "marcxml" on line four of the SQL code to "metadata" or else the report failed to run. What am I doing wrong? I am just trying to get a list of bibliographic records from a certain vendor so that I can then feed the record numbers into the Batch Record Deletion tool. Maybe there's a better report to use than this one? Patron_Self_Registration__Error

Hi Everybody, Can you please help me to fix below mentioned Koha Patron Self Registration Issue I am using Koha version 17.05, when i tried to submit patron self registration form in OPAC, I am getting below mentioned error. I had made required settings to enable the feature, but still I am getting same error. Error - "you have not filled out all required fields. please fill in missing fields and resubmit." Removing items + biblio records

We're removing a large amount of material from our holdings to make room for an upcoming renovation, and I have a question about how the batch item deletion tool works. When we delete an item, what happens to the bibliographic record? Is it removed, too? Is the tool smart enough to only remove the record after the last item is removed? We don't want to leave bibliographic records behind for stuff that is no longer in the library. At the same time, we also have a large number of "empty" bibliographic records in koha related to licensed digital materials, and we can't just automatically clean out any biblio without an item record.
