Koha passes the 'PREVISSUE' as a flag that the checkout needs confirmation - for SIP machines this means the checkout fails I believe. Ebook display in the opac

Hi all, I'm trying to make our e-book display nicer in the catalog following these guidelines: https://bywatersolutions.com/education/koha-electronic-resources While the report works after some changes, the JS doesn't do anything. Can anybody tell me if the source code is correct? Koha enquiry for a new library

Hi All, Our library doesn’t have a library system yet. We are new branch campus in Qatar and we are investigating about various possibilities for managing our physical collection which includes Koha. Even though I heard a lot of positive feedback about Koha in general, I would like to hear from you the personal experience of setting up and using Koha. 1. Does your library had any other library system before implementing Koha? If not, how easy/complicated to use this for a new library? 2. What things should I be considered before start using Koha? Delete no item from koha

Regarding koha offline circulation - windows

Hi, IAM using koha 17.11 on Ubuntu 16.04. When I ran cronjob of running offline db(create_koc_db.pl), IAM getting error that I do not have sqlite Perl module installed and I will not be able to install it as IAM unable to connect my server to internet. Now is there any way with which I can create a db file from my koha database without having to install any extra modules/softwares. Regards Suresh

CSV files are actually semi-colon separated

Gentle Reader, If I run a report then download the result as a CSV file, I actually get a file that uses semi-colons as the delimiter (so for example it won't open properly in Excel). Is this intended behaviour or a bug? Is there a way to change the delimiter? (I am using Koha 17.11) Thanks, Chris Brown

I have found that if I have borrowed an item through counter or 3M self-check, I cannot borrow it again with the 3M self-check although it was returned properly. The error message is like “Item cannot be issued: PREVISSUE. Contribute with plugin for frameworks

Hello everyone, Can anyone tell me the procedure to contribute with plugins for frameworks in Koha? I recently developed a plugin for autocompletion of the Cutter field, using the author's name and/or title, using the Cutter-Sanborn table. search result list is void of information

Hello all, I've replaced an old Koha 17.11 by a fresh install of Koha 18.11. After install, as superlibrarian I successfully populated the DB with sample records including a couple of items, for test purposes. <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/t341209/Screenshot_2019-02-17_17-55-…> Afterwards, as normal user I tried a search for a keyword matching more than one record, and thus I got a list of search results. <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/t341209/Screenshot_2019-02-18_12-38-…> The list is correct, but, as you can see, each entry is void of textual information -- no title/author/etc. . If I click on the "image preview" of one single entry (not visible in the screenshot) I get access to the full info of that entry, which shows correct. But the search results void of textual information is uninformative for a user. This misbehaviour was not present in Koha 17.11. Is this just a matter of misconfiguration? OPAC item status

Is there a field in the item record that I can choose to select manually for something like “In process”, “in transit” etc. for display in OPAC?
