Hi, I am not referring to check-out and check-in messages through email for a single or multiple transactions of a particular user. We are getting email notifications to check-in/check-out/reminders/ etc. I need to keep print copy of daily transactions (cumulative) report for check-out & check-in transactions that is from library opening hours to closing hours every day. Currently I am running sql for date range for check-in & check-out. Instead of running check-out or desired report using sql and saving to csv or some other format has to be performed manually. But, I am looking for using same sql report automatically through an email on every day basis. So that, I could easily get the print done from single mail without running sql manually and also I could assign printing and filing job to other library staff in the library who do not have access to Koha but access to Library Email. Therefore, I am looking for email communication on complete transactions (cumulative) report for check-out or check-in in a single mail on daily basis. With regards Satish Librarian Govt. Hi Abhishek, I think you might not be missing the sample notices, but some of the mandatory data. Check your database tables: message_attributes, message_transport and message_transport_types. Especially the last one should have 4 entries: email, phone, print, sms. But the others need to have data as well. How to receive reports to email

Hi, I would like to receive check-out and check-in report in CSV or tab separated text - format on daily basis to my email automatically on daily basis. How to set cron entry to get such report automatically. Kindly share your best practices if any of the library has implemented same feature. I tried for Tools › Task scheduler for getting particular report through email, but text file received is not correctly formatted. And it has to be manually set every day. Koha Duplicating Items

Hello, I want to import my newly created marc file into Koha. Everything is imported successfully in the Koha empty database, and it is creating a single record. The problem is that instead of creating a single item with all the information it creates many items with different information. Problem with Notices & Slips

Dear All, I am relatively new to Koha, installed my first instance was able to import 40000+ titles from LibSys ane approx 3000 Users. Koha installation is working quite well on a 8 Gb RAM VPS Cataloguing, Circulation and everything thing is working just file. But No default templates are available under Notices & Slips I would like to enable few email alerts. When I try to add new notice it won't allow me to do and displays error to select a template while email phone body fields are not visible while creating Notice. Kindly suggest how to import default notices now so that it may work. IMO I deselected sample notices while creating instance can I now get default Notices & Slips Abhishek Nagar

KohaCon19 Update

Dear Koha Community On behalf of the organising group, I thought it would be useful to send an update on the preparations for KohaCon19. The website for the conference is here: https://www.interleaf.ie/kohacon19/ We are getting registrations every day and proposals for talks and workshops. Every talk and workshop proposal is being published as they are received. You can review the list at this link: https://www.interleaf.ie/kohacon-schedule/ Information will also be tweeted as proposals are received using the hashtag #kohacon19 There are plenty of slots available so do make a proposal. We would like to clarify the "workshops" times in the schedule. In the past people have felt that the term "Hackfest" can put off less technical delegates who feel they might not have anything to contribute so we changed it to "Workshops" The schedule has space for 12 workshops. 2 running in parallel over six time-slots, but more parallel sessions can be added if the demand is there. We want these to be a combination of very technical sessions and training-based sessions. We are thinking of 4 themes for these sessions: One for unstructured development (the traditional "Hackfest"), and one for each of the following. *User training* ** Hands on with X ** How a feature goes from idea to reality in community *Developer training* ** External trainer for Elastic Search ** External trainer for Mojolicious ** External trainer for DBIx::Class ** External trainer for Modern Perl Best Practice ** Elasticsearch focus group ** How to write good tests ** How to write selenium tests ** How to get to PQA (Passed Quality Assurance) ** Encouraging 'Code Golf' *Contributor training* ** How to test and signoff ** How to translate ** How to contribute to the manual ** How to join the QA team (what experience you'll need to build up before we'll invite you) ** Funding and Roadmaps?
