Some time ago I annotated this path: www.koha-community.org -> Documentation --> Install ---> Koha on Debian in my recipe for new installs. And today I was becoming crazy to find this, because I only was seeing Unsupported versions documentation. As a suggestion for website menus: Add a menu item instead of only depending on menu caption.

Shibboleth implementation

I've been trying to work on switching our login authorization to Shibboleth using the information in the Koha Community Wiki. But I've hit some issues which I've not been able to fully understand. For my particular site, the SSO provider is an OKTA instance. Anyone out there who has Koha working with this combination (Shibboleth and OKTA)? I could use some coaching through the various options. Regarding analytical entries

Hi, This is regarding analytical records, some of the bibliographic fields are auto populated like title biblionumber, itemnumber etc in 773 field. Now I wanted to generate few other fields into the 773 field automatically. Is this possible? If so pls let me know the steps to achieve this. Thank you in advance. Regards Suresh Kumar

Create item type image as .gif format and copy the same in to below two locations 1) /usr/share/koha/intranet/htdocs/intranet-tmpl/prog/img/itemtypeimg/ (select folder item type category) 2) /usr/share/koha/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/itemtypeimg/ (select folder item type category) All the best Venkata Narayana T

Regarding the KOHA version migration - custom file issue

Hi All, We need to migrate our existing application with custom modules (KOHA Version 16.05.04) to latest version (KOHA Version 18.11.05). Existing application deployed in cloud server. So we have done the following steps. - Installed the KOHA Version 18.11.05 in another cloud server. - Migrated the old database to new server. - The corresponding custom code snippet copy from old server files and paste to new server files. - But in the case of .pm files, copy the entire files from /usr/share/koha/lib/C4 and paste to the same location in the new server. Now when we click on one custom link, we got the following software error. *Software error:Bareword "GetItemTypes" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at /usr/share/koha/opac/cgi-bin/opac/libraries.pl <http://libraries.pl> line 185.Execution of /usr/share/koha/opac/cgi-bin/opac/libraries.pl <http://libraries.pl> aborted due to compilation errors.* Can anyone help me urgently on this issue?
